Class Size Reduction Updates• No legislative changes to Class Size for 2020-21
• Class size requirements for the new innovative learning environments have yet to be determined by the FDOE.Information will be provided once received.
• Fully online course is NOT blended learningo Do NOT use the blended learning field in TERMS to indicate the
new online learning model.o Coding for the new online learning model will be determined
once guidance is received from FDOE.

Definition of a blended learning model per s. 1002.321(4)(e), F.S.A blended learning course consists of both traditional classroom and online instruction. In order to report a course as blended, personnel must be certified pursuant to s. 1012.55, F.S. and provide direct instruction pursuant to s. 1003.498, F.S. Students in a blended learning course must be a full time student of the school.
