2020 Algebra II Summer Homework

• Make sure you SHOW YOUR WORK!! If there is no work shown,

the problem will be counted incorrect, even if you have the

correct answer on your paper. Your ability to GET the correct

answer is just as important as the answer itself. Of course,

there are problems (like writing equations) that do not require

work, but anything you “do in your head” or “on your

calculator” needs to be written down.

• Circle your answers. We will not search for answers in your

work.

• These are the basics of Algebra I and these concepts will not be

retaught in an Advanced Algebra II class … reviewed yes, re-

taught no. If you do not feel strong in any of these areas, you

should enroll in a regular Algebra II class where more time will

be spent on these concepts. Make sure you have a very good

understanding of writing, solving and graphing linear

equations; writing, solving and graphing quadratic equations;

and writing, solving and graphing systems of equations.
