9 - EVENT: The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Race is listed on the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) international calendar as a Restricted Closed International Event sanctioned by IMSA and held under the IMSA RULES.

19 - Event Logistics: Exclusively under the direction of and assigned by IMSA. Refer to schedule for Series paddock load-in times. Each entered Car is limited to one (1) transporter in the garage area. Additional transporters are prohibited.

Pre-Staging: Early Arrivals may access Lot 6 through Gate 70 starting at 12:00 pm on Thu., Jul. 2. Transporters must be parked in the designated area in Lot 6 until screening begins Fri., Jul. 3.

Staging: Staging is outside the back straight in Lot 6. Drivers must complete pre-screening process to receive entry access prior to Load-In.

Load-In: Transporters are directed to the back straight to be ordered for Load-In by IMSA personnel (procedures as at the R24H). Transporters are led to the Yellow Garages by DIS Security around Speedway #3 & #4 to the pit lane. Transporters will be directed either into the Yellow Garages or to the Rolex chute depending on Garage assignment. Rolex chute transporters enter the Yellow Garages through Gate 201.

Load-Out: Transporters departing on Sat., Jul. 4 must vacate the Garages prior to 11:30 pm. Transporters may remain until Sun., Jul. 5 but drivers must be re-screened at Gate 40 for re-entry and must depart no later than 4:00 pm. For IWSC Teams competing at both the Daytona July 4 and Sebring July Event only, and wishing to stay over at DIS prior to the Sebring Event, the following must be completed:

• Contact Jennifer Young, [email protected] or 386-681-5315 to complete the appropriate paperwork. A COI is required and a fee of $1000 is payable prior to Jul. 5. Teams may stay until Fri., Jul. 10.

• Personnel must self-screen for temperature every time they enter or re-enter the track and respect social distancing. Face masks are recommended.

• Garage hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm daily. • All work must be completed and garages closed no later than 4:45 pm for security lock down procedures. • All transporters must vacate the Garages no later than Fri., Jul. 10 at 5:00 pm.

3.7.2 - Driver Deadline/Fee: CoB Mon., Jun. 15. Until CoB Fri., Jun. 26, an expediting fee is charged. No applications (or related documents) processed after CoB Fri., Jun. 26.

4.3.6 - Event Confirmations: Event Confirmation Declarations must be submitted via TIMS no later than 4pm Mon., Jun. 22. $500 is charged for late Declarations or Driver changes made after this deadline.

9.4.14.A - Fuel Schedule: The VP depot is located in the Yellow Garages in the fuel pump area. VP will deliver fuel to each Team’s pit box prior to the Event load-in. To redirect delivery to the Team’s garage, please contact VP in advance of the Event.

GENERAL - EVENT / TRACK INFORMATION - ALL SERIES

A. Roster Deadline: Corporate Member COVID Event Rosters are due by Fri., Jun. 26 by 5:00 pm est.

B. Credentials: Corporate Member Credential Roster - Mon., Jun. 22 by 5:00 pm est. Annual Credentials and SEC application must be received by IMSA by Tue., Jun. 23 by 5:00 pm est. All credentials for this event will be mailed to Corporate Member Representatives for delivery by Fri., Jun. 26, unless other arrangements are made with IMSA for pick up.

C. Staggered Entry: Please also refer to the IMSA Event Operations Protocol document to be distributed. All personnel enter through Gate 70 for screening. (See map). IMSA will assign screening times for each team and industry personnel. Once cleared, personnel must proceed to their designated area (infield, TV compound, tower, etc.). If an individual leaves the controlled area, they must be re-screened to re-enter.

D. Screening Process: Screening is by detailed schedule only, as communicated in IWSC Competition Memo 20-19. After pre-screening for facility access, participants are directed to Parking (Map). Please maintain social distancing and remain in vehicles until notified by IMSA Officials.

E. Restrooms: Permanent restrooms are closed at the facility. Each Team will receive dedicated portable restrooms, one (1) at the transporter and one (1) at the pit box.

F. IMSA Transporters: The WeatherTech Championship Tech Transporter and IMSA Operations Transporter will be accessible. Please enter the doors labeled “in” and “out” appropriately, and follow all instructions listed outside the transporters. While waiting to enter, please respect the 6’ markings outside of the transporters. Please keep crew member visits to a minimum.

G. Tire Procedures: See additional Michelin Tire Procedures instructions in the SR below. Michelin will be located on the truck pad outside of the Yellow Garage area. Traffic flow pattern will apply.

H. Driver/TM Briefing: Briefing will be pre-recorded, distributed and posted on Jul. 2. It will be available on the Event page of the Competitor website. L. Technical Procedures:

Safety Inspection Procedure o Entrant must complete an online pre-event Scrutineering Declaration

• Additional information links to be published on Jun. 10 • The Scrutineering Declaration will include critical information on the safety equipment of the car and the scrutineering datalogger.

o Cars will be lined up 2 x 2 outside open yellow garages near Safety-Kleen • Cars must be spaced at least 8’ apart side to side and front to back

o During the safety inspection, crew members must move away from the car returning only when IMSA officials have finished the inspection process or are required to perform work on the vehicle • When requested by officials, no more than two (2) crew members are allowed at the car to perform IMSA required work during

safety inspection process o Bosch representative will plug in to car for pre-event data logger set-up

• Crew members will be directed to power up the electronics in the car • No crew members allowed to be at the car while the Bosch representative performs the check • Entrants will be issued an assigned data stick during Safety Checks • The car is not permitted to leave the safety inspection until a Bosch representative has completed the pre-event data logger set-up

o Revised Safety inspection process • Random checks will be utilized confirming the online form data

Voluntary Technical Inspection Procedure o Cars must be spaced at least 8’ apart while in line for Technical Inspection o Team members are not permitted to handle any IMSA equipment, tools or measurement devices at any time o A maximum of four (4) team members will be allowed push the car on the tech plate and lift

• During the inspection process, crew members must move away from the car behind barriers and then return once IMSA officials have finished the inspection process (IMSA Officials and team members should not simultaneously surround the car)

• One (1) team member may remain with the car at a minimum of 6 feet distance from IMSA Officials to observe technical inspection o Due to the condensed schedule, teams will not be permitted to perform measurements on the Technical Inspection plate o Cars must present to Technical Inspection with tire valve caps removed and tire pressures set high enough so that no air is required by

IMSA • IMSA will not provide nitrogen for tire pressures during voluntary Technical Inspection process • IMSA officials will bleed tires down to appropriate pressure once car is on Technical Inspection plate • If tire pressures are too low, inspection of anything relative to or effected by tire pressure will not be checked or recorded by IMSA

Officials o All paperwork from the technical inspection process will be emailed directly to the Entrant Representative

Involuntary Technical Inspection Procedure (Impound) o Impound inspections as normal, Cars shall be announced by Race Control. Cars are subject to random inspection at any time.

• For stall testing and fuel pump-out prior to inspection, two (2) properly attired crew members are permitted access to the Car upon direction from IMSA Officials

• Once Car is stall tested and pumped dry of all fuel, a maximum of four (4) crew members are permitted to push the Car to the Technical Inspection area and on to the inspection plate at the direction of IMSA Officials

• Crew members must remove tire valve caps as the Car is presented for Technical Inspection § Only IMSA Officials are permitted to add nitrogen to tires prior to inspection

• Crew members must move away from the Car and behind barriers and must not approach during the inspection process unless directed by IMSA Officials

Refueling Restrictors o Refueling restrictor declaration is due at 1:30 PM, Sat., Jul. 4 (Race day) o Restrictors/hose assemblies on autonomous pit tanks shall be sealed prior to the Recon Lap (5:30 PM, Sat., Jul. 4) Data Sticks o Entrants will be issued an assigned data stick during Safety Checks. Entrants are responsible for collection of the data stick and the

installation in the vehicle. o Entrants must present assigned data stick to the designated Download Station within thirty (30) minutes of the completion of each

session • The Download Station is non-contact and enables the required social distancing • The location of the Download Station is outside of the IMSA Engineering Trailer • A Bosch representative will direct the Entrant representative on when to insert and remove the data stick from the download

station. The Entrant representative is no longer required to sign off on the data offload as per previous procedures.

Data Logger System Assistance o Should Entrant or IMSA identify an issue related to the Data Logger System that requires an IMSA and/or Bosch representative to plug

into the vehicle, the Entrant may be directed to pull the vehicle out of the garage until this process can be completed o Entrants are responsible for a fully functional Data Logger System during the Event o While IMSA will make every attempt to work around car preparation procedures, this will not always be possible and Entrants must

respect the direction of IMSA if data logger system maintenance is necessary

1. Nitrogen Supply: Airgas, the exclusive nitrogen supplier, [email protected] or 800-367-4273.

2. Motorsports Ministries: Chapel services will not be held at the Event.

3. Telephone/Internet: AT&T https://expressordering.att.com and reference the instructions posted at imsacompetitors.com.

4. Security: Daytona International Speedway Security, Steve Beres, 386-681-6755 or 386-547-1178 mob.

5. Team Food Service: Americrown for box meal options available. Lauren Rose, [email protected] or 396-681-3321. Menu and information posted at imsacompetitors.com. No other onsite food service providers available. On-site cooking prohibited. Personnel may go outside the track to pick up food. Re-entering will require re-screening. Grills, buffets and cooking inside the facility is prohibited.

6. Catering / Hospitality: Marion’s, Scheper’s, IMSA WeatherTech Paddock Club and/or other providers will not be on site. Grills, buffets and cooking inside the facility is prohibited. No onsite catering available. No onsite hospitality available.

7. Motorhomes: The Speedway Driver/Owner Lot has limited availability and specific restrictions as described on the D/O Lot form at imsacompetitors.com. To reserve space, download and complete the form and send to Nicole Shinsky prior to Wed., Jun. 24 at [email protected].

8. Golf Cart Rentals: Prohibited.

9. Equipment Rental: Fred Gilmour, 386-681-6135.

10. Truck Washing: Truck washing not required. Truck washing is available only on Thu., Jul. 2 in the pre-staging area (Lot 6, through Gate 70) from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. No truck washing on Fri., Jul. 3. Contact Karl Davis, 386-679-6112. Washing is prohibited inside the Speedway.

11. Pit Vehicles: Pit vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver 16 years or more in age. Motorscooters of one, two or three-wheels and/or designed to transport one or two persons are prohibited in the garage, pit and Paddock areas. Motorcycles, drones, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and other non-motorized transportation prohibited on Daytona International Speedway property. 10 MPH speed limit for all vehicles in garage, Paddock and pit areas. Vehicle traffic between the pit enclosures and the fence is one-way, please follow arrows.

• IWSC Teams permitted one (1), 3-or-more wheeled support vehicles (equipment tugs) in the garage area per entered Car. Access stickers issued by IMSA and available from the administrator in the Series tech trailer. Additional golf carts prohibited.

12. False Grid:

• Cars may move between paddock and pit lane and return at any time but must respect the traffic flow pattern. Traffic enters pit lane from the exit of the Yellow Garages at Pit-In. Cars must exit either through Gate 132 or 135 or, at the end of a session under direction of Race Control, may be turned around and driven counter-course to the garages. Cars exiting at Gate 135 must not go to the blue garages and must return directly to the Yellow garages on the pit lane access road and must respect the 10 MPH speed limit. Cars may also return to the garage area directly from the track during a session under supervision of an IMSA Official.

13. Pit Lane Equipment: Hard panels (except as separation between two-Car Teams) inside the tent and/or flooring are prohibited. The following procedures must be adhered to on pit lane and within the pit lane area:

• Each Team is assigned a section of the pit lane as described in the Pit Box Set Up map below.

• The paved area from the yellow line on the concrete pit floor back to the chain link fence must remain a clear fire lane at all times. Body panels must not be placed against or attached to fence. All such items must be kept inside pit enclosure. Heaters of any type prohibited.

• The fire marshal requires a doorway in the rear tent wall of a minimum four (4) feet wide that must remain open at all times. This doorway shall meet the requirements for this Event per Article 3.16.4.A of the IMSA IWSC Sporting Regulations.

14. Credential Restrictions: IWSC Teams (entered Car #) are restricted to 15 credentialed essential personnel, including the Drivers, to be submitted via the COVID Roster in MERG. There will be no on-site registration. Please refer to the IMSA Event Operations Protocol document.

15. Spotter Information: One (1) spotter is permitted, exclusively outside the facility, on a separate credential as a +1 to the above 15 limit. Spotters must remain entirely outside the facility, even when the track is cold. There will be no access to the infield or garage/paddock area (take this into consideration regarding radios and/or other equipment). See spotter route and locations map below, parking is exclusively in bays 82 - 92 on the ground level. Respect six (6’) separation markings.

GENERAL COVID 19 RESPONSE/SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOL – MICHELIN Tire Workshop

These are in addition to specific track requirements:

• Masks and gloves worn at all times when handling tires, wheels and equipment in the Michelin Tire Workshop. • Observation of the six (6) feet social distancing recommendation when applicable • Shaking hands when greeting is prohibited, air fives, please. • Fans and non-essential personnel are not permitted in the Michelin Tire Workshop and teams are encouraged to bring essential personnel

only for tire/wheel assembly drop off and pickup. • Frequently touched surfaces in the footprint will be disinfected on a regular basis.

Mounting Schedule

Tire Workshop Workflow • Clear Drop Off and Pick Up Zones will be identified. (see map – Drop Off Zone identified with Red star, Pickup Zone identified with Green star) • Directional signage to identify zone locations will be placed prominently on site. o 6’+ area clearance for both areas

Drop Off Zone

• Clear informational signage that gives instruction for tire/wheel assembly delivery/drop off will be posted. • Teams are asked to bring tires already marked to the tire workshop for service • Hand sanitation station will be available at the Drop Off Zone with social distancing recommendation observed • Clearly placed markings will be established and placed on ground to keep social distancing parameters in adherence. Team Tire Specialists will

drop off their tire/wheel assembly sets in pre-gridded socially accepted marked areas (6’+ area for each grid). Michelin/Jackson Motorsports team will collect tires from drop off grid.

• Gloves and masks must be worn by all Team Tire Specialists dropping off tire/wheel assemblies. • PPE must be provided by individual teams

Pickup Zone

• Clear informational signage that gives instruction for tire/wheel assembly pickup/collection will be posted. • Clearly placed markings will be established and placed on ground to keep social distancing parameters in adherence. Team Tire Specialists will

pick up their tire/wheel assemblies in pre-gridded socially accepted marked areas (6’+ area for each grid). Michelin/Jackson Motorsports team will place tires in independent marked girds for pickup.

• Gloves and masks must be worn by all Team Tire Specialists picking up tire/wheel assemblies. • PPE must be provided by individual teams

Other

• Strict adherence to stated policies is intended to limit cross contamination and minimize direct contact/personal interaction between Team Tire Specialists and Michelin/Jackson Motorsports personnel at each zone will be followed.

Michelin Series Trailer Protocol

• No competitor personnel will be permitted inside any of the Michelin series trailers. • A sanitizing station will be set up near the 10x10 Michelin designated meeting zones for technical assistance

RFID TIRE SCANNING

• If a team requests RFID tires to be scanned, all tires must be organized with barcodes facing up, ready for scanning outside of your tent area.
