PAGEANT RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Miss Newcastle 2020 Pageant takes place on the 29th April 2020 at the Winterfees show grounds. The Pre-Judging/Preliminary round will be held during February 2020, details will be made available closer to time. In order to qualify, contestants must fulfil the following criteria: • Be at least 17 years of age to enter, and not older than 23 years of age on the 1st January 2020. • Be a South African citizen and in possession of a valid ID Document. • Be in possession of a matric certificate or equivalent qualification or be in her matric year. • Not be married and never have had a marriage annulled. • Not be engaged • Never have given birth to a child and not be pregnant • Not have any visible tattoo's • Not have a criminal record • Have ambassadorial qualities • Not using illegal substances VERY IMPORTANT All the Miss Newcastle contestants will be required to perform and attend a limited number of engagements during the months leading up to the pageant, namely January to 29th of April 2020. The Winner of the Miss Newcastle 2020 will remain contracted to the Miss Newcastle Pageant to perform community-related projects for the year of her reign.
