We can visit you (dependent on location) to help draw up your designs (whatever you want in black and white or in colour), but it would be good if you had a quick sketch of what you think you would like printed on the boards.

Lockable boards for most sizes are also available. Please enquire.

We can also supply unprinted boards and fabric boards. Please enquire.

How many symbols do you need?You can mix and match any symbols. For example from the 25mm range you may only require:

• 1 no. ‘PT’ symbol

• 3 no. ‘OT’ symbols

• 4 no. ‘Fit for discharge’ symbols

• 6 plain coloured squares to represent consultants.

This amounts to 14 no. 25mm symbols in total.

The price for these would be £4.60 each = £64.40 + vat.

All costs include delivery. Vat is not included.

Standard red mats (Size: A3)This is an innovative, non-slip bed table mat supporting the national ‘Red Tray’ nutritional awareness concept… but, unlike the conventional red tray, these are slim, easy-to-clean and designed to be left on the bed table 24/7 to raise and maintain staff awareness regarding nutritional and hydration needs of individual patients.

The design shown is already standard licensed design by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundations Trust, but we can produce other designs to suit your needs.

Non-standard red mats (Size: A3)Red mats with your own messaging and trust logo. Subject to a minimum order of 200 mats. Please enquire for pricing.

Patient SafetyPlease take a moment to read the information on the noticeboard regarding making your stay with us a safe one.

This includes: preventing blood clots, infection and falls, your medicines, identification, pressure sores, leaving hospital and any concerns.

MedicationsMost of your prescribed medication is stored in the locked cabinet by your bedside.

The health professional will ensure you are aware of what medications have been prescribed and when it should be given. Please request pain relief as needed.

Transfer process to communityBefore you can be discharged home the following needs to be completed:

• Routine check for yourself and your baby • Review by midwife or doctor for yourself and your baby if required • Medications to take home if required • Completion of your paperwork regarding your hospital stay • Information discussed and leaflets given regarding ongoing care in the community

This is a time consuming process, please be patient as it can take 2 to 3 hours and may be interrupted by emergencies or other priorities.
