ABOUT THIS SYMPOSIUM

The SPE North America Student Symposium is an annual conference organized by SPE International student

members across North America. The Symposium presents an opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge

of the oil and gas industry through the insights and experiences of industry leaders and advocates.

It provides attendants with a myriad of networking

opportunities, as students, faculty, and industry

experts from around North America will be

participating.

The theme for this year’s symposium is Data

Sciences Transforming the Energy Industry.

Sponsorship support helps offset the cost of

producing the symposium and allows SPE to keep

attendance expenses within reach of students

Sponsors will be recognized on the event webpage,

verbally and visually during the conference, and be

included in any available marketing emails.

Supporting the future professionals of our industry also

allows sponsors to promote their brand while generating

positive media exposure.

Sponsors are also able to reach out to potential intern

and full- time candidates while putting their business

front and center during the exhibition.

ABOUT SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorship for the North American Student Symposium goes directly to help with the costs of operating the program. The

Society of Petroleum Engineers operates the Symposium through its Member Programs department, which is separate from

other SPEI Events. As the program is operated through Member Programs, the Symposium is designed to not generate

revenue and to break-even.

If sponsorship is not available, certain activities currently planned for the Symposium will not be scheduled.
