Boyce Thompson Institute’s NSF & USDA REU Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP) offers an opportunity to work side- by-side with plant science experts and gain experience in: PROGRAM DATES: Undergrad: June 01, 2020 - August 07, 2020 High School: June 24, 2020 - August 07, 2020 SUPPORT: Undergraduate interns receive free group housing, $850 for meals, travel reimbursement, and $5,750 stipend over 10 weeks. High school interns will receive a $3,100 stipend over 7 weeks. ELIGIBILITY: Undergraduate applicants must be (1) US citizens or permanent residents, (2) enrolled in a college/university and not graduated by June 1, 2020, and (3) at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2020. High school applicants do not have to be US citizens, but must be living locally during their internship (within a daily commute of Ithaca). High School students are not eligible for housing, travel, or meal allowance.
