4 YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS UNDER THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES

1. Your Legal Rights Under These Limited WarrantiesThe warranties contained in this booklet are the onlyexpress warranties that FCA US LLC (“FCA US”)makes for your vehicle. These warranties give youspecific legal rights. You may also have other rightsthat vary from state to state. For example, you mayhave some implied warranties, depending on the statewhere your vehicle was sold or is registered.

These implied warranties are limited, to the extentallowed by law, to the time periods covered by theexpress written warranties contained in this booklet.

If you use your vehicle primarily for business orcommercial purposes, then these implied warranties donot apply and FCA US LLC completely disclaims themto the extent allowed by law. And the implied warrantyof fitness for a particular purpose does not apply if yourvehicle is used for racing, even if the vehicles isequipped for racing.

Some states do not allow limitations on how longan implied warranty lasts, so the above limitationsmay not apply to you.

1.1. Incidental And Consequential Damages Not CoveredYour warranties do not cover any incidental orconsequential damages connected with your vehiclefailure, either while under warranty or afterward.Examples of such damages include:• Lost time• Inconvenience• The loss of the use of your vehicle• The cost of rental vehicles, gasoline, telephone, travel, or

lodging• The loss of personal or commercial property• The loss of revenue

Some states do not allow incidental or consequen-tial damages to be excluded or limited, so this exclu-sion may not apply to you.

2. What Is Covered Under FCA US LLC Warranties

2.1. Basic Limited Warranty

A. Who Is Covered

You are covered by the Basic Limited Warranty if youare a purchaser for use of the vehicle.

B. What Is Covered

The Basic Limited Warranty covers the cost of all partsand labor needed to repair any item on your vehiclewhen it left the manufacturing plant that is defective inmaterial, workmanship or factory preparation. There isno list of covered parts since the only exception is tires.You pay nothing for these repairs covered by the BasicLimited Warranty. These warranty repairs or adjust-ments, including all parts and labor connected withthem, will be made by your authorized Alfa Romeorepair facility at no charge, using new or remanufac-tured parts.

C. Items Covered By Other Warranties

The following are covered by separate warrantiesoffered by their manufacturers. They are Not Coveredby the Basic Limited Warranty:• Tires• Items added or changed after your vehicle left the manu-

facturing plant, such as accessories or protection prod-ucts, or items changed because of customization

Be sure you get a copy of any warranty that appliesto these items from the manufacturer of the product.

D. Towing Costs Are Covered Under Certain Circumstances

Roadside Assistance covers the cost of towing yourvehicle to an authorized Alfa Romeo dealer if yourvehicle cannot be driven because a covered part hasfailed. Roadside Assistance lasts for up to four years,with no mileage limit, calculated from the warrantystart date. Refer to “section 6.2” for information on howto get Roadside Assistance service in the United Statesand Canada including United States Possessions andTerritories as part of the United States for warrantypurposes.

E. When It Begins

The Basic Limited Warranty begins on either of thefollowing dates, whichever is earlier:• The date you take delivery of the vehicle.• The date when the vehicle was first put into use — for

example, as a dealer “demo” or as a FCA US LLCcompany vehicle.

F. When It Ends

The Basic Limited Warranty lasts for four years fromthe date it begins or for 50,000 miles on the odometer,whichever occurs first. But the following items arecovered only for 12 months or for 12,000 miles on theodometer, whichever occurs first:• Brakes (rotors, pads, linings, and drums)• Bulbs• Clutch discs or modular clutch assembly (if equipped)• Wheel alignment and balancing• Windshield and rear window• Wiper blades

Any warranty in force will be transferable to anysubsequent consumer, free of charge, for the time or themiles that remain in the warranty.

G. Registration And Operation Requirements

The Basic Limited Warranty covers your vehicle onlyif:• The vehicle was built for sale in the US.• The vehicle is registered in the US.• The vehicle is driven mainly in the US or Canada.• The vehicle is operated and maintained in the manner

described in your Owner’s Manual.• We include US Possessions and Territories as part of the

United States for warranty purposes.

H. If Your Vehicle Leaves The United States, We Include US Possessions And Territories As Part Of The United States For Warranty Purposes

EXCEPT WHERE SPECIFICALLY REQUIREDBY LAW, THERE IS NO WARRANTYCOVERAGE ON THIS VEHICLE IF IT IS SOLDIN OR REGISTERED IN COUNTRIES OTHERTHAN THE UNITED STATES.

This policy does not apply to a vehicle that hasreceived authorization for export from FCA US LLC.Dealers may not give authorization for export. Youshould consult an authorized dealer to determine avehicle's warranty coverage if you have any questions.

This policy does not apply to a vehicle registered toUS government officials or military personnel onassignment outside of the United States.

2.2. Corrosion Warranty

A. Who Is Covered

You are covered by the Basic Limited Warranty if youare a purchaser for use of the vehicle.

B. What Is Covered

This warranty covers the cost of all parts and laborneeded to repair or replace any body sheet metal panelsthat have been perforated by rust from the inside out. Ifa hole occurs because of something other than corro-sion, this warranty does not apply. Cosmetic or surfacecorrosion — resulting, for example, from stone chips orscratches in the paint — is not covered. For moredetails on what is not covered by this warranty, refer to“section 3.5”.

C. How Long It Lasts

The Corrosion Warranty starts when your BasicLimited Warranty begins described in “section 2.1 E”.This warranty has two time-and-mileage limits:• For sheet metal panels, the limit is 36 months, with no

mileage limit.• For an outer-body sheet metal panel — one that is

finish-painted and that someone can see when walkingaround the vehicle — the limit is five years, with nomileage limit.

D. What Is Not Covered

Please note that while the standard Corrosion Warrantyapplies to defects in material and/or workmanship, itdoes not cover the vehicle's matte finish appearance (ifequipped).

Maintaining the matte finish appearance is solely theresponsibility of the vehicle owner as described in yourOwner's Manual.

2.3. Restraint System Limited Warranty (Vehicle Sold And Registered In The State Of Kansas Only)For a vehicle sold and registered in the State of Kansas,seatbelts and related seatbelt components are warrantedagainst defects in workmanship and materials for 10years, regardless of mileage. This warranty does notcover replacement of seatbelts and related componentsrequired as the result of collision.

3. What Is Not Covered

3.1. Modifications Not Covered

A. Some Modifications Do Not Void The Warranties But Are Not Covered

Certain changes that you might make to your vehicle donot, by themselves, void the warranties described inthis booklet. Examples of some of these changes are:• Installing non-Alfa Romeo parts, components, or equip-

ment (such as a non-Alfa Romeo radio or speed control).• Using special non-Alfa Romeo materials or additives.• Modifying the front bumper, vehicle body structure, or

adding aftermarket side steps or running boards.• Replacing windshields on vehicles equipped with

Advanced Driver Assist Systems and non-Alfa Romeogenuine parts.

• Using aftermarket collision parts.• Attaching or installing any aftermarket accessories,

including transparent material (e.g. glass tinting) or after-market grilles.

Your warranties do not cover any part that was noton your vehicle when it left the manufacturing plant oris not certified for use on your vehicle. Nor do theycover the costs of any repairs or adjustments that mightbe caused or needed because of the installation or useof non-Alfa Romeo parts, components, equipment,materials, or additives.

NOTE:Non-Alfa Romeo parts can also impact downstream orother related safety systems.

Performance or racing parts are considered to benon-Alfa Romeo parts. Repairs or adjustments causedby their use are not covered under your warranties.Examples of the types of alterations not covered are:• Installing accessories — except for genuine Alfa Romeo

accessories installed by an authorized Alfa Romeo repairfacility.

• Applying rustproofing or other protection products.• Changing the vehicle configuration or dimensions, such

as converting the vehicle into a limousine.• Using any refrigerant that Alfa Romeo has not approved.

B. Modifications That WILL Void Your Warranties

These actions will void your warranties:• Disconnecting, tampering with, or altering the odometer

will void your warranties, unless your repairing techni-cian follows the legal requirements for repairing orreplacing odometers.

• Attaching any device that disconnects the odometer willalso void your warranties.

3.2. Environmental Factors Not CoveredYour warranties do not cover damage caused by envi-ronmental factors such as airborne fallout, bird drop-pings, insect damage, chemicals, tree sap, salt, oceanspray, niter, acid rain, and road hazards. Nor do yourwarranties cover damage caused by hailstorms, wind-storms, tornadoes, sandstorms, lightning, floods, andearthquakes.

Your warranties do not cover conditions resultingfrom anything impacting the vehicle. This includescracks and chips in glass, scratches and chips in paintedsurfaces, or damage from collision.

3.3. Maintenance Costs Not CoveredYour warranties do not cover the costs of repairingdamage caused by poor or improper maintenance. Nordo they cover damage caused by the use of contami-nated fuels, or by the use of fuels, oils, lubricants,cleaners or fluids other than those recommended inyour Owner’s Manual.

The warranties do not cover the costs of yourvehicle’s normal or scheduled maintenance — the partsand services that all vehicles routinely need. Some ofthese parts and services, which your warranties do notcover, include:• Lubrication• Engine tune-ups

• Replacing filters, coolant, spark plugs, bulbs, or fuses(unless those costs result from a covered repair)

• Cleaning and polishing• Replacing worn wiper blades, worn brake pads and

linings, or clutch linings

3.4. Racing Not CoveredYour warranties do not cover the costs of repairingdamage or conditions caused by racing, nor do theycover the repair of any defects that are found as theresult of participating in a racing event.

3.5. Certain Kinds Of Corrosion Not CoveredYour warranties do not cover the following:• Corrosion caused by accident, damage, abuse, or vehicle

alteration.• Surface corrosion caused by such things as industrial

fallout, sand, salt, hail, ocean spray, niter, and stones.• Corrosion caused by the extensive or abnormal transport

of caustic materials like chemicals, acids, and fertilizers.• Corrosion of special bodies, body conversions, or equip-

ment that was not on your vehicle when it left the manu-facturing plant or was not supplied by FCA US LLC.

3.6. Other ExclusionsYour warranties do not cover the costs of repairingdamage or conditions caused by any of the following:• Fire or accident• Abuse or negligence• Misuse — for example, driving over curbs or overloading• Tampering with the emission systems, or with a part that

could affect the emission systems• Use of used parts, even if they were originally supplied by

Alfa Romeo (however, authorized Alfa Romeo remanu-factured parts are covered)

• Windshield or rear window damage from external objects• Any changes made to your vehicle that do not comply

with FCA US LLC• Using any fluid that does not meet the minimum recom-

mendations in your Owner's Manual

3.7. Total Loss, Salvage, Junk, or Scrap Vehicles Not CoveredA vehicle has no warranty coverage of any kind if:• It is declared to be a total loss by an insurance company.• It is rebuilt after being declared to be a total loss by an

insurance company.• It is issued a certificate of title indicating that it is desig-

nated as “salvage”, “junk”, “rebuilt”, “scrap”, or somesimilar word.

FCA US LLC will deny warranty coverage withoutnotice if it learns that a vehicle is ineligible forcoverage for any of these reasons.

3.8. Restricted WarrantyFCA US LLC may restrict the warranty on your vehicleif the vehicle is not properly maintained, or if thevehicle is abused or neglected, and the abuse or neglectinterferes with the proper functioning of the vehicle. Ifthe warranty is restricted, coverage may be denied orsubject to approval by FCA US LLC before coveredrepairs are performed.

4. Other Terms Of Your Warranties

4.1. Exchanged Parts May Be Used In Warranty RepairsIn the interest of customer satisfaction, FCA US LLCmay offer exchange service on some vehicle parts. Thisservice is intended to reduce the amount of time yourvehicle is not available for your use because of repairs.Parts used in exchange service may be new, remanufac-tured, reconditioned, or repaired, depending on the partinvolved.

All exchange parts that might be used meet FCA USLLC standards, and have the same warranties as newparts.Examples of the kinds of parts that might be serviced inthis way are:• Engine Assemblies• Transmission Assemblies• Instrument Cluster Assemblies• Radios, CD and DVD Players• Speedometers• Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

To help control suspected ozone-depleting agents, theEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires thecapture, purification, and reuse of automotive airconditioning refrigerant gases. As a result, a repair tothe sealed portion of your air conditioning system mayinvolve the installation of purified reclaimed refrig-erant.

4.2. Pre-Delivery ServiceA defect in or damage to the mechanical, electrical,sheet-metal, paint, trim, and other components of yourvehicle may have occurred at the factory or while it wasbeing shipped to the dealer.

Such a defect or damage is usually detected andcorrected at the factory. In addition, dealers mustinspect each vehicle before delivery. They repair anydefects or damage detected before the vehicle is deliv-ered to you.

4.3. Production ChangesChanges may be made in vehicles sold by FCA US LLCand its authorized Alfa Romeo dealer at any timewithout incurring any obligation to make the same orsimilar changes on vehicles previously built or sold.

5. Emission Warranties Required By Law

5.1. Federal Emission Warranty

A. Parts Covered For Two Years Or 24,000 Miles

Federal law requires FCA US LLC to warrant thefollowing emissions parts for two years or 24,000 miles,whichever occurs first. FCA US LLC covers all of theseparts under the Basic Limited Warranty for four years or50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.• Air System Controls• Electronic Fuel Injection System, (including injector)• Evaporative-Emission Canister and Controls• Exhaust Manifold• Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve and Control

System

• Exhaust Pipes (between exhaust manifold and catalyst)• Fuel Cap and Tank Assembly, Pump, and Fuel Lines• Ignition System• Intake Manifold• On-Board Diagnostic-System Components• Oxygen Sensors• Positive Crankcase-Ventilation (PCV) Valve or Orifice• Secondary Ignition Wires• Spark Plugs• Throttle Body• Vacuum Hoses, Clamps, And Fittings, (as well as tubing

used for these components)• Vacuum, Temperature, Altitude, Speed, Time-Sensitive

Valves, Sensors, and Switches (used in these componentsand systems)

B. Parts Covered For Eight Years Or 80,000 Miles

If your vehicle has one of the following parts, thisFederal Emission Warranty covers that part for a periodof eight years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first,calculated from the start of the Basic Limited Warrantyas set forth in “section 2.1 E”. The covered parts are:• Catalytic Converter• Powertrain Control Module (PCM)• Transmission Control Module (TCM)

5.2. Emission Performance WarrantyThis warranty supplements the federal warranty under“section 5.1”. It lasts for two years or 24,000 miles onthe odometer, whichever occurs first. If your vehiclehas one of the following parts, catalytic converter orPowertrain Control Module (PCM), this Federal Emis-sion Warranty covers that part for a period of eightyears or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Theselimits are counted from the time when your BasicLimited Warranty begins under “section 2.1 E”. TheEmission Performance Warranty covers the cost ofrepairing or adjusting any components or parts thatmight be needed for your vehicle to pass Federal Emis-sion Standards for a federally approved state or localemissions test, but only if:• Your vehicle has failed a federally approved state or local

emissions test.• Your vehicle has been maintained and operated properly

up until it fails such a test.• You face a real penalty — for example, a fine or the loss

of the use of your vehicle — because the vehicle hasfailed the test.

Refer to "section 6.4" Getting Service Under TheFederal Emission Performance Warranties, for furtherinformation on how to get service under this warranty.

6. How To Get Warranty Service

6.1. Where To Take Your Vehicle

A. In The United States (We Include US Possessions And Territories As Part Of The United States For Warranty Purposes)

Warranty service must be done by an authorized AlfaRomeo repair facility. We strongly recommend thatyou take your vehicle to your selling dealer. They knowyour vehicle best, and are most concerned that you getprompt and high quality service. If you move within theUnited States, warranty service may be requested fromany authorized Alfa Romeo repair facility.

B. In Canada And Mexico

If you are traveling temporarily in Canada or Mexico,and your vehicle remains registered in the UnitedStates, your FCA US LLC warranty still applies.Service may be requested at any authorized AlfaRomeo repair facility.

C. In A Foreign Country Outside Of North America

If you are traveling temporarily outside of NorthAmerica, and your vehicle remains registered in theUnited States:• You should take your vehicle to an authorized Alfa

Romeo repair facility. They should give you the samewarranty service you receive in the United States.

• If the authorized Alfa Romeo repair facility charges youfor repairs which you feel should be covered under yourwarranty, please get a detailed receipt for the work done.Make sure that this receipt lists all warranty repairs andparts that were involved. This receipt will be similar tothe one used by the authorized Alfa Romeo repair facilitywho normally services your vehicle.

• When your vehicle returns to the United States, contactthe Alfa Romeo Customer Assistance Center in “section7.2” for reimbursement consideration. You will normallyneed to provide a copy of the receipt, your vehicle regis-tration and any other relevant documents.

• Reimbursement will not be considered if the vehicle doesnot return to the United States.

D. If You Move

If you move to another country, be sure to contact theAlfa Romeo Customer Assistance Center in “section7.2” and the customs department of the destinationcountry before you move. Vehicle importation rulesvary considerably from country to country. You may berequired to present documentation of your move toFCA US LLC in order to continue your warrantycoverage. You may also be required to obtain docu-mentation from FCA US LLC in order to register yourvehicle in your new country.

E. Notice

If your vehicle is registered outside of the United States,and you have not followed the procedure set out above,your vehicle will no longer be eligible for warrantycoverage of any kind. Vehicles registered to UnitedStates government officials or military personnel onassignment outside of the US will continue to becovered.

6.2. How To Get Roadside Assistance Service — US Or Canada Only *

A. Who Is Covered

You are covered by the Roadside Assistance services ifyou are a purchaser for use of the vehicle. The RoadsideAssistance services lasts for four years, regardless ofmileage, calculated from the start date of the BasicLimited Warranty, as set forth in “section 2.1 E”.1

B. What To Do

If your vehicle requires jump start assistance, out ofgas/fuel delivery, tire service, lockout service or towingdue to a defect covered under the Basic LimitedWarranty, call for assistance.United States Roadside Assistance Phone Number:844-253-2872Canada Roadside Assistance Phone Number:844-953-3232

Provide your name, Vehicle Identification Number(VIN), license plate number, and your location,including the telephone number from which you arecalling. Briefly describe the nature of the problem andanswer a few simple questions.

You will be given the name of the service providerand an estimated time of arrival. If you feel you are inan unsafe situation, please let us know. With yourconsent, we will contact local police or safety authori-ties.

C. Covered Services

Flat Tire Service — If you are inconvenienced by a flattire, we will dispatch a service provider to use yourvehicle’s TIREFIT KIT to seal small punctures up to 1/4"in the tire tread or your vehicle's temporary spare asrecommended in your Owner's Manual. This is not apermanent flat tire repair.Out of Gas/Fuel Delivery — Drivers cannot alwayscount on a gas station being nearby - especially whentraveling away from home. We will dispatch a serviceprovider to deliver a small amount of fuel (maximumtwo gallons) to get you to a nearby station.

Battery Jump Assistance — No time is a good timefor a depleted battery, but with Roadside Assistance,you do not have to worry about being stranded. We willdispatch a service provider to provide you with abattery jump anytime, day or night.Lockout Service — Whether the keys are locked inyour vehicle or frozen locks are keeping you fromgetting on your way, Roadside assistance can assistyou. This service is limited to providing access to thevehicle's seating area. It does not cover the cost ofreplacement keys.Towing Service — Our towing service gives you peaceof mind and confidence. If your vehicle becomesdisabled as a result of a mechanical breakdown, Road-side Assistance will dispatch towing service to trans-port your vehicle to the closest authorized Alfa Romeorepair facility.

D. If Unable To Contact Roadside Assistance

If you are unable to contact Roadside Assistance andyou obtain towing services on your own, you maysubmit your original receipts from the licensed towingor service facility, for services rendered within 30 daysof the occurrence. Be sure to include your VehicleIdentification Number (VIN), odometer mileage at thetime of service and current mailing address. We willprocess the claim based on vehicle and service eligi-bility. If eligible, we will reimburse you for the reason-able amounts you actually paid, based on the usual andcustomary charges for that service in the area wherethey were provided. 6.3. Emergency Warranty RepairsIf you have an emergency and have to get a warrantyrepair made by someone other than an authorized AlfaRomeo dealer, follow the reimbursement procedure in“section 6.1 C”.

6.4. Getting Service Under The Federal Emission Performance Warranties

A. What To Do

If your vehicle has failed an emissions test described in“section 5.2”:• Take the vehicle to an authorized Alfa Romeo repair

facility as soon as possible.• Give the service representative the printout showing that

your vehicle failed the test.• If possible, bring all service receipts, maintenance logs,

and records proving that your vehicle has been properlymaintained, since you may be required to show them.

B. Further Steps You Can Take, And How To Get More Information

If you think an authorized Alfa Romeo dealer haswrongly denied you Emission Warranty coverage,follow the steps described in “section 7.1”. FCA USLLC will reply to you in writing within 30 days afterreceiving your complaint or within the time limitrequired by local or state law. If the owner is not noti-fied within 30 days that a performance warranty claimis denied, the manufacturer must repair the vehicle freeof charge.

7. How To Deal With Warranty Problems

7.1. Steps To Take

A. In General

Normally, warranty problems can be resolved by anauthorized Alfa Romeo dealer. That is why you shouldalways talk to an authorized Alfa Romeo dealer servicemanager or authorized Alfa Romeo dealer’s salesmanager first. But if you are not satisfied with an autho-rized Alfa Romeo dealer response to your problem,FCA US LLC recommends that you do the following:Step 1:Discuss your problem with the owner or generalmanager of the authorized Alfa Romeo dealer.Step 2:If an authorized Alfa Romeo dealer still cannot resolvethe problem, contact the Alfa Romeo Customer Assis-tance Center. You will find the address in “section 7.2”.

B. What FCA US LLC Will Do

Once you have followed the two steps described in“section 7.1 A”, an FCA US LLC representative atFCA US LLC headquarters will review your situation.If it is something that FCA US LLC can help you with,FCA US LLC will provide your dealer with all theinformation and assistance necessary to resolve theproblem. Even if FCA US LLC cannot help you, FCAUS LLC will acknowledge your contact and explainFCA US LLC's position.

C. If Your Problem Still Is Not Resolved For Customers Residing In Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Minnesota And Montana ONLY

If you cannot resolve your warranty problem afterfollowing the two steps described in “section 7.1 A”,and you live in Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Minnesotaor Montana ONLY, you can contact the FCA US LLCCustomer Arbitration Process in your area.

This service is strictly voluntary, and you maysubmit your dispute directly to the Customer Arbitra-tion Process (CAP) at no cost. The CAP is administeredby an independent dispute settlement organization andmay be contacted in writing at the following address:National Center for Dispute SettlementFCA US LLCP.O. Box 727Mt. The CAP reviews only vehicle disputes involvingFCA US LLC (“FCA US”) Limited Warranty or a FCAUS LLC/Alfa Romeo Part Limited Warranty. The CAPdoes not review disputes involving the sale of a new orused vehicle, personal injury/property damage claims,disputes relating to design of the vehicle or part, ordisputes which are already the subject of litigation.The CAP will need the following information fromyou:

1. Legible copies of all documents and repair ordersrelevant to your case.

2. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of yourvehicle.

3. A brief description of your unresolved concern.

4. The identity of your servicing authorized AlfaRomeo repair facility /selling dealer.

5. The date(s) of repair(s) and mileage at the time.

6. Current mileage.

7. A description of the action you expect to resolveyour concern.

Upon receipt of your request:• The National Center for Dispute Settlement (NCDS) will

acknowledge receipt of your request, by mail, within 10 days,and advise you whether or not your dispute is within the juris-diction of the Process.

• When your request is within jurisdiction NCDS willrequest FCA US LLC and the dealer to present their sideof the dispute. You will receive copies of their responses.

• While your dispute is pending NCDS or FCA US LLCmay contact you to see if your case can be settled byagreement. If a settlement is offered to you, FCA US LLCwill ask you to sign a form that contains that settlement.Your case will then be closed. There is no requirement foryou to participate in this settlement process.

• If you requested an oral hearing, a decision-maker willcontact you to arrange a convenient time and place for ahearing. Usually, this will be at a dealership near you.

• If you request a documents-only review, an NCDS panelwill review and decide your case. Neither you, the dealernor FCA US LLC need be present.

• NCDS will send you a written Statement of Decision.This statement will include the decision, any action to betaken by the dealer or FCA US LLC and the time bywhich the action must be taken. The decision will bebinding on the dealer and FCA US LLC but not on youunless you accept the decision.

• If any action is required on the part of the servicing autho-rized Alfa Romeo repair facility /selling dealer or FCAUS LLC you will be contacted within 10 days after thedate by which the dealer or FCA US LLC must act todetermine whether performance has been rendered.

• The entire dispute settlement process will normally takeno longer than 40 days.

• The CAP dispute settlement procedure does not take theplace of any state or Federal legal remedies available toyou. Whether or not you decide to submit your dispute tothe Process, you are free to pursue other legal remedies.

D. Notice Under State Lemon Laws

Some states have laws allowing you to get a replace-ment vehicle or a refund of the vehicle’s purchase priceunder certain circumstances. These laws vary fromstate to state. If your state law allows, FCA US LLCrequires that you first notify us in writing of any servicedifficulty that you may have experienced so that we canhave a chance to make any needed repairs before youare eligible for remedies provided by these laws. In allother states, we ask that you give us written notice ofany service difficulty. Send your written notice to theAlfa Romeo Customer Assistance Center at the addressin “section 7.2”.

9. Maintenance

9.1. General InformationIt is your responsibility to properly maintain andoperate your new vehicle. Follow the instructionscontained in the General and Scheduled MaintenanceService guidelines in your Owner’s Manual. Regular,scheduled maintenance is essential to trouble-free oper-ation. If there is a dispute between you and FCA USLLC concerning the maintenance of your vehicle, FCAUS LLC will require you to provide proof that yourvehicle was properly maintained.

For your convenience, FCA US LLC has prepared aMaintenance Schedule with routine service intervalswhich is included in your vehicle’s Owner's Manual. Itsessential to follow these required maintenance intervalsfor safe trouble-free operation.

9.2. Where To Go For MaintenanceFCA US LLC recommends that you return to the dealerfrom whom you bought your vehicle for all mainte-nance service both during and after the warrantyperiods. Although you can get warranty service fromany dealer who sells your particular make, returning toyour selling dealer will help ensure that all your serviceneeds are met and that you are completely satisfied.Authorized Alfa Romeo repair facility technicians arespecifically trained to proficiently perform mainte-nance and repair procedures on your vehicle.

Authorized Alfa Romeo repair facilities will helpensure that all your service needs are met and that youare completely satisfied. FCA US LLC strongly recom-mends you use genuine Alfa Romeo parts to maintainyour vehicle.
