Welcome to our Weekend Courses! Selina and I have been teaching on our weekend guitar courses for longer than I care toremember and have enjoyed every one. Over the weekend we aim to help you improveas a musician by looking at where you arecurrently and then helping you appreciate aninteresting and more exciting musical future. Technical and Musical training does not have tobe dull and boring it is actually very excitingespecially when you can look forward and seewhere you wish to go and more importantlyhow to get there. Our weekends allow you time to enjoy learningin a friendly group with people who enjoy theguitar as much as you do. Every weekend has a theme generally a topicwe have been working on over the year. We arealso very happy to cover subjects requested bystudents, all we ask is you let us know whenapplying for a weekend. In addition one part of an ensemble piece will be sentto you to practice then during the weekend two sessionswill consist of playing as a group otherwise known as Guitar Ensemble. This part of the weekend is just for fun and is enjoyed by all. Whether your interest is in performance,playing for personal pleasure or passing examseverything you learn and experience will assistyou in the enjoyment of music.

Near to Stratford-upon-Avon, the Manor has aclaim to fame as once being visited by WilliamShakespeare. As you will see from the image below we havebeen allocated our own building. Everythingexcept for meals and evening relaxing takesplace here with sleeping accommodation on theground floor and the music room on the upperfloor along with tea/coffee etc. Billesley Manor itself is a very short walk fromour building where meals that help you to relaxand enjoy life will be served. A licensed bar is available for the after classhours giving you time to get to know yourfellow guitarists. Should you have a partner who may wish tojoin you but not be a part of the course, this canalso be accommodated, please ask for details.
