Berth 2:AGL LNG Import

FSRU

The Gas Import Jetty Works would comprise of:

1. Continuous mooring of an FSRU at Berth 2 of the existing Crib Point Jetty to store LNG and regasify LNG into natural gas using the onboard regasification unit.PoHDA will remediate and upgrade the jetty facilties

The Project would cohabitate with existing users of the Port Facilities.

United Petroleum utilises Berth 1 for petrol and diesel import.

Offshore pipeline installers occasionally weld pipeline sections on the refinery site before winding on to vessels berthed at Berth 3.

Regasification Unit

In Open Loop mode, continuous

seawater flow is used as a heat

source to regasify the liquefied

natural gas (LNG) stored onboard

the FSRU. When the LNG is in its

gaseous state, it is transported from

the regasification unit to the MLAs

and flows through the jetty gas

piping to the Crib Point onshore

receiving facility where odorant and

nitrogen (if required) are injected,

and the gas is metered.

Associated infrastructure that will

be installed on the deck

pierhead, include:

− hydraulic gangway tower to

access the FSRU

− Fire system, which can be

remotely operated

− contaminated spill

containment equipment

− lighting and CCTV security

system.

Marine Loading Arms

MLAs would be installed from

the water side using a floating

barge with a crane.

The MLAs would be fixed to the

pierhead deck.

The MLAs would be connected to

gas piping which would be lifted

into place from the barge and

installed.
