Amanda-Clearcreek Primary Drop Off and Pick Up

Important Changes

To help with student safety and traffic flow, please follow these procedures during parent drop off and pick up.

Drop Off Procedure: -Enter Parking lot off of Lutz Ave. We will be lining cars up in two rows around the outer edge of the parking lot. -A teacher will be at the corner of the playground and will let you know when students may exit the car. ALL students may exit cars even on Lutz Ave. -Please make sure your car is in Park and turn on your hazard lights! When your child has exited the car and is safely on the sidewalk turn off your hazard lights! Once all students are out of the rows of cars the teacher will let you know to pull out. One row at a time. Parents will remain in their cars. Parents exit on to Lutz Avenue. Even if you let your child out to the side walk on Lutz Ave. you still must circle through the parking lot to exit, so we do not create a traffic jam... -Students will be directed to the cafeteria for breakfast or their classroom to start their day.

Pick Up Procedure: -Enter the parking lot on Lutz Avenue and turn on your hazard lights.. -Staff will be there to direct you into rows of 2 for pick up. -A teacher will be looking for your name placard. Please make sure it is visible from your visor or dash board.

**Parents will remain in their cars. -The teacher will communicate to the teacher at the door what student is needed. -Your child will be directed out to you. -Once your child is in your car and buckled you may turn off your hazard lights to let us know you are ready when given the signal. Once all cars in the row are filled you will proceed out of the parking lot and onto Lutz Avenue

**To ensure that traffic continues to flow and we load/unload students in a timely manner, please adhere to the following: -Do not park your car and get out. -Do not block the parking lot entrance or any intersections

-Do not park in the front of the building, K-2 students will not be permitted to enter the building from Kirby Avenue.
