DAY 1: THURSDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2021We’ll be winging our way to Levi in Finland.

DAY 2: FRIDAY 26 FEBRUARY 2021 On arrival at Kittila airport, we will be transferred to our hotel in Levi, high up in the Arctic Circle, this lovely alpine resort is the perfect setting for our Lappish experience.Our hotel is well situated right in the middle of the enchanting village of Levi. A light lunch will await us on our arrival and the rest of the afternoon gives you time to unpack, rest or explore the village.

Dinner is a great introduction to Lappish cuisine in an underground restaurant offering a cosy and traditional atmosphere. Local Lappish delicacies are served in the original way by the open fire.During desert the host, in traditional Lappish dress, will entertain you with Lapp songs. Maybe tonight we will be lucky to see the Northern Lights as we walk back to the hotel.Overnight :Levi.Included: Dinner.

DAY 3: SATURDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2021After breakfast we head to the Safari Club to be fitted for our Thermal winter clothing, a fun but important experience.

Then, once we are all kitted up – a most magical activity awaits us… Challenge yourself on a snowshoe adventure through the picturesque snowy landscape. Experience the silence and beauty of wintery forests on this guided snowshoe hike. Along the way, our guide will tell stories about the people and way of life in Lapland. During the trip, enjoy a well-earned drink before returning to the Safari Club. Tonight will be a free evening where you can enjoy any of the range of restaurants and snack bars in Levi. Remember to keep your eyes peeled for the Lights – they can start at any time and you don’t want to miss them.

DAY 4: SUNDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2021After breakfast we meet our guides for our transfer by private coach to a reindeer farm. The reindeer are semi wild and roam freely in the woods and forests. The reindeer farm owner has a carefully selected group of reindeer trained for sledge-pulling. As we sit snugly in the sleigh, the reindeer will take us on a traditional ride through nature. Enjoy a soup lunch in one of the tents or cottages on the farm and learn about the life of the Lappish Reindeer farmer. You can even feed the Reindeer with their favorite treat

The afternoon will be at leisure either trying your hand at skiing, exploring the little shops or relaxing at the nearby spa. Dinner under own arrangements giving you a chance to spot the Aurora Borealis!

DAY 5: MONDAY 1 MARCH 2021After breakfast we have an exciting visit in store to a husky farm. This is a truly memorable dog sledding experience! This sporty husky safari takes us out into the Lappish wilderness with the eager dog teams. Before departing on the safari we will be given instructions on how to control the sleds. After the safari we will be served hot berry juice around an open fire while listening to stories about the dogs. Lunch will be under own arrangements and our afternoon will be at leisure. Why not take the cable car to the top of the Fel to enjoy the most beautiful view over the town and the pristine wilderness that lies outside of Levi. We will be spoiled with dinner at Pihvipirtti. If you like a good steak, this is the place to be! This cosy age old wooden restaurant offers good food and a laid back atmosphere and is a short walk from our hotel giving us a chance to spot the Lights both on the way there and back. DAY 6: TUESDAY 2 MARCH 2021A bus transfer will take us to our next stop, Rovaniemi, and the realization of most people’s childhood dreams – to meet with Father Christmas. We will drop off our luggage before being taken to none other than Santa Claus Village. It’s no surprise that Santa’s office is located at the Arctic Circle – in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun.

Santa Claus village celebrates Christmas all year round as this is the place where Santa meets people from around the world and spreads goodwill. Pay Santa a visit to have a chat and share your wishes. Drop by at Santa’s Official Post Office to send Christmas cards for the coming Christmas, or visit the various local handicraft, jewelry and design shops for souvenirs. Enjoy a wonderful 3 course lunch at the Santa Claus Village.

DAY 7: WEDNESDAY 3 MARCH 2021After breakfast you can either enjoy a free day to wander around the shops, or return on your own to Santa’s village or, to independently take a short ride to Arktikum. This is a science center and museum which lets you experience northern nature, culture and history close up. See, explore and enjoy a deeper understanding of the Arctic. It is a fascinating and stimulating experience.Afternoon at leisure.Lunch under own arrangement. Overnight: Rovaniemi.Included: Breakfast, Dinner.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: For those who would like to do something truly amazing – the ultimate adventure trip of all….. there is an optional full day Sampo Icebreaker cruise in Kemi. On arrival at Kemi harbor embark on an Arctic experience in a traditional ice breaker. Guided presentation gets you familiar with commando bridge and the engines built to operate in extreme Arctic conditions. From the deck you will witness the vastness of the surrounding ice fields and pack ice and see how the vessel effortlessly crushes the ice which can be up to a meter thick. After lunch on board your experience will culminate in an Arctic swim dressed in special wetsuits. A completely unique experience and one that your friends will be amazed at.

DAY 8: THURSDAY 4 MARCH 2021After breakfast we get to the heart of nature on a snowmobile safari which takes us through snow covered forests and along frozen rivers. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river valley from the hilltops. A break with hot beverages will keep our own motor running !Lunch under own arrangement

Afternoon at leisure.In the late afternoon we will be transferred to the Arctic Snow Hotel for an overnight stay in a surreal igloo. Glass-roofs provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the starry sky and when lucky – to watch the Northern Lights.

Nothing is ordinary here, from the beautiful ice carvings in the ice hotel, to the outdoor Jacuzzi and the amazing Snow Sauna – which just has to be tried!! Everything is quite amazing – from the glass for your pre - Dinner cocktail to our incredible dinner served at the ice restaurant. The Igloo restaurant is a unique structure built entirely of snow and ice. The surrounds are illuminated with atmospheric lights which add to the magical and cosy feeling of the restaurant. Our Farewell dinner will reflect everything of our incredible experience filled week in Lapland - with true rich Lappish flavors it will be unforgettable in every way.

Even though the indoor temperature remains just below zero, our warm safari clothing will keep us perfectly comfortable throughout the extraordinary dining experience.We truly hope that, lying in your bed gazing up at the night sky through your glass roof, you are treated to a Northern Lights, light show!!

DAY 9: FRIDAY 5 MARCH 2021After breakfast we have some time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel for a while longer before our final Lunch of very special wood glowed salmon in the Kota Teepee Restaurant – a delicious memory of your stay in check out of the hotel in time for our transfer to the airport for our flight home.Included: Breakfast.
