This means most families pay these so we can provide all the many ‘extras’ around the school. We are fortunate to be able to provide them due to the annual donations as well as the outstanding fundraising efforts of our Parent-Teacher Committee. Until we changed to purchasing stationery online at the start of the year donations tended to be paid at the same time as the children’s stationery in February. So we need to seek the donations in another way. A number of parents have asked about when and how they pay the school donations. So to assist this I have attached a tear-off slip on the newsletter so parents can pay the voluntary donations at the school office. Many thanks for your wonderful support. SCHOOL CAMPS Senior syndicate camps are horrible, terrible happenings. The children never experience anything new or fun. The camp parents absolutely hate them!!

Just kidding – they are simply wonderful. Thanks to all our camp parents for your help.

WELCOME TO EDDIE

The school staff are thrilled to welcome Edward (Eddie) James Bradleigh Hall to their family. A gorgeous 6.4lb/2.89kg boy for our own Miss James (Renee) and her partner Brad, born Saturday 18th February in the early hours of the morning. We can’t wait to meet him.

GOAL SETTING INTERVIEWS

Goal Setting Interviews are on Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th March (week 6). A notice about booking interview times for these will be sent home next Monday. Please look out for these.

CROUP is in the community. The cough is contagious for three days. Please keep your child at home if they have it.

MIDDLE SYNDICATE FUN DAY

Yesterday was fun day. We had a lot of things like

computer suite, sandpit, water slide and sponge

throw. We did lots of other stuff. The water slide

and sponge throw was my favourite because we

got to throw sponge at people and it was very

funny. We did it with groups of 7 but not until after

morning tea.

We went to the pool for 20 minutes then we went

to the hall for 20 minutes. For Discovery Time we

were allowed to go in different classes. The

classes were Room 9, Room 8, Room 7, Room 10,

Room 11. I went to every class but my favourite

part was rock painting and playing with the car in

Room 7. We also did a scavenger hunt. We had to

around the school and look for the answers. Then

we could ride scooters and roller skates. I had a

MGP. We went up ramps. We didn’t have work for

the whole day.
