During Lent, you and your family are invited to deepen your Christian faith and discipleship through experiencing one of the best studies available about the events of Jesus’ final days, 24 Hours That Changed the World , based on the Gospel of Mark. Adult, Youth and Elementary Christian education classes will participate in this seven-week study series Sundays, February 18 th - Easter Sunday, April 1 st , 9:45 10:45 a.m., on the following schedule: February 18 Lesson #1, The Last Supper Memory Verse: “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” Mark 11:9 February 25 Lesson #2, The Garden of Gethsemane Memory Verse: “I have set you an example, and you should do for each other exactly what I have done for you.” John 13:15 CEV March 4 Lesson #3, Condemned by the Righteous Memory Verse: “Do this in memory of me.” Luke 22:19 (GNT) March 11 Lesson #4, Jesus, Barabbas and Pilate Memory Verse: “The Lord is near to all who call on him.” Psalm 145:18 March 18 Lesson #5, The Torture and Humiliation of the King Memory Verse: “I don’t even know the man you’re talking about!” Mark 14:71 (CEV) March 25 Lesson #6 The Crucifixion Memory Verse: “Truly this man was God’s son!” Mark 15:39 April 1 Lesson #7, Christ the Victor Memory Verse: “He has been raised, he is not here.” Mark 16:6 Adult classes offering this study include the College Class, Dimensions of Faith, Discussion, Genesis Network, G.I.F.T., In His Steps, Mixed Blessings, Pathfinders, and Spares and Pairs, along with Elementary Grades 1 - 4 and all Youth classes. Newcomers are welcome in all classes! Books may be ordered through Christian education classes or by individuals. A $10 donation per book is welcome; orders are due Sunday, February 4 th .
