Chapter 24 members:
On behalf of the Chapter 24 Board Members, I would like to thank Randy Johnson of Evolution Edges for an outstanding tour. The tour took us through the manufacturing process of snow plow blades from raw materialtofinishedproduct.ThanksRandyfortakingthetimetowalkusthrough your process.
I am proud to announce that Chapter 24 was recently awarded TheCertificateofAchievementSilverStatusfortheAdvancementofManufacturing Award and Exceptional Merit Award for 2011. I would like to thank all of our Chapter Members for helping us to obtain this award. A special thanks to Herb Green our Past Chairman 2010-2011 for his vision and guidance for Chapter 24. Herb has laid the foundation for Chapter 24 to continue to grow and reach out to the community. Thanks Herb!
The next scheduled event for Chapter 24 is our annual Summer Picnic at Hardinge Park. This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The picnic will include a tour of Hardinge, dinner, guestspeaker,games,raffles,andagreattimeofsocializing.Ticketsforthe summer picnic are $20.00 and can be reserved and/or bought from any one of the Board Members listed on the bulletin. We need to be sure of the number of attendees for proper food preparation, so please be sure to let us know if you will be attending. The dinner will be catered by PDR’s Catering and the menu will be as follows:
