    INVESTORS IN PUPILS AWARD

You may remember that a few yearsago we successfully applied for anInvestors in Pupils award. Investors inPupils ensures that children know whatthey need to do next to make progress. It also gives children responsibilities inclass.

This year we are going to re-apply forthe award. As part of this, children havebeen working hard on their new

learning behaviours target. It would beuseful for children to discuss theirtargets with an adult at home.

RADIO 4 ‘LIVES IN A LANDSCAPE’

This year, children from 3CP have beenworking with researchers from ‘Born inBradford’ to create a project called ‘MyClass, My World’. 3CP, just like the restof our school, has a wonderful mixtureof children from around the world. The

project encouraged the children torecord and photograph aspects of theirlives, from what they eat for tea to whothey play with in the playground. Thechildren produced such lovely work thatRadio 4 decided to feature it in theirLives in a Landscape feature.

It was fantastic to hear our childrentalking so proudly about their multi-cultural class. We especially enjoyedhearing how children help each other to

    learn English.
