Eurocopter presents the first EC145 helicopterconceived in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz.

Eurocopter dispone de una gama muy completa de helicópteros para

ejecutivos, capaces de transportar entre 4 y 19 pasajeros. Cinco de

sus aparatos, entre ellos el que nos ocupa, están disponibles en

Stylence, una versión que integra “la oficina en vuelo” con sofisticados

equipos electrónicos y lujosos interiores.

La novedad en la gama de lujo de la compañía es el EC145 “Mercedes-

Benz Style”, que fue presentado en público el pasado mes de mayo en

Ginebra, durante la European Bussiness Aviation Convention and

Exhibition (EBACE).

EC145 “Mercedes-Benz Style”

El helicóptero EC145 “Mercedes-Benz Style” de Eurocopter presentado en

Eurocopter has a wide range of executive helicopters capable of carrying

anywhere from 4 to 19 passengers. Five of the aircraft in its line are

available in Stylence, including a version called “the flying office” that

contains sophisticated electronic equipment and luxurious interiors.

The latest novelty in the company’s deluxe line is the EC145 “Mercedes-

Benz Style” helicopter, presented to the public in Geneva at the European

Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), held last May.

to a European client.

Conceived in accordance with a design project directed by the Advanced

Design Studio of Mercedes-Benz in Como, Italy, the interior of the EC145

“Mercedes-Benz Style” helicopter is inspired by those of the carmaker’s

high-end deluxe line of automobiles, and is characterized by the use of

materials identified with luxury—from elegant wood details to the pleasant

interior lighting and multi-functional stowage spaces—all responding

to the highest standards of elegance, prestige and comfort. The EC145

EBACE fue el primer ejemplar de su clase en ser expuesto ante el público

antes de ser entregado a un cliente europeo.

Concebido conforme a un proyecto de diseño dirigido por Advanced Design

Studio de Mercedes-Benz, en Como, Italia, el lujoso interior del EC145

“Mercedes-Benz Style” se inspira en los automóviles de alta gama de dicha

compañía automotriz, y se distingue por sus materiales de lujo, sus elegan-

tes maderas, la agradable iluminación ambiental de la cabina y los malete-

ros multifuncionales, respondiendo a las mayores exigencias en materia de

elegancia, prestigio y confort. El EC145 representa la alta gama de los heli-

cópteros bimotor de peso medio de Eurocopter: combina desarrollos avan-

zados en cuanto a diseño de cabina y aviónica, al mismo tiempo que dis-

pone de un sistema de rotor sin articulaciones y palas de rotor mejoradas

que garantizan un bajo nivel de emisiones sonoras y de vibraciones.

El EC145 “Mercedes-Benz Style” es muy apropiado para realizar una

amplia gama de misiones: transporte de ejecutivos, viajes familiares, e

incluso vuelos de tiempo libre y deportivos.

Los asientos están montados sobre carriles, de manera que se pueden recon-

figurar fácilmente y disponer de forma distinta para cuatro a ocho pasaje-

ros, así como desmontar para ganar espacio destinado al equipaje. También

ostenta diversas posibilidades de almacenamiento para fines diversos, tarea

facilitada por numerosos puntos de anclaje en el suelo y las paredes.

represents Eurocopter’s high-end line of medium-weight, twin-engine

helicopters: It combines advanced developments in both avionics and

interior cabin design, while making use of a non-articulated rotor system

with improved blades to guarantee a low level of noise and vibration.

The EC145 “Mercedes-Benz Style” is right for a wide range of missions:

executive transportation, family trips and even travel for leisure time and

sporting events. The seats are mounted on rails, so as to permit them to be

easily reconfigured and arranged differently for anywhere from four to eight

passengers, or to be removed to make room for baggage and cargo. Along

these lines, it also has a number of different stowage possibilities, a task

facilitated by a variety of anchoring points installed in the floor and walls.
