Our rating & descriptionThe Resort’s origins date back to 1400, boasts a unique position on Fie-

sole hills only 5 km from Florence historical center. In these areas some

prestigious artists as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Benedetto and

Giuliano from Maiano, Boccaccio and many more worked.

For centuries the hills between Fiesole and Florence, where the Resort

is located, with its Hamlet and the houses that are spread in the coun-

tryside, have been a place where the first stone to build the city of Flor-

ence was digged.

Walking through the olive grove, you will easily reach the Villa, the main

house that look on to the entire estate. The Villa has been the set for

numerous films including: Tea with Mussolini by Franco Zeffirelli and

A Room with a View by James Ivory. It has all the private residence

features :magnificent rooms (Tapestries Room, Red Lounge, Old Dining

Room, Carriage Room and Billiard Room) with original decor and fur-

nishings, a large terrace overlooking Florence and the Italian garden.

The villa is now rented in exclusive for every event.

AccomodationsAccommodations are offered in apartments located within the estate.

Originally they were ancient rustic homesteads and former convent

buildings. Recently renovated with particular attention to the architec-

tural style, the apartments are authentic country dwellings in terms of

style, peace and panoramic views.

During summer, guests can enjoy the lovely swimming pool, located

in the gardens of Fattoria, overlooking a truly matchless view on the

surrounding countryside. There is also nice programme of activities to

choose from: the teaching farm, art and restoration class, The Villa and

Olive Mill guided tours, tastings and discovery tours of Tuscany, night

safari.

WeddingsThe Villa offers its beautiful gardens and antique lounges as ideal set-

tings for exclusive events, from ceremonies and wedding receptions to

business meetings and gala dinners.

Situated on the green hills surrounding Florence, this aristocratic house

still possesses its early genuine charm. The original furniture belonging

to the XVII -XVIII centuries, the magnificent lounges with their richly co-

loured frescoes, the refined tapestries decorating the elegant ballroom,

and the gorgeous terrace are just some of the unique features that will

make your event truly unforgettable.

In the very heart of Fattoria is located situated the 15th century clois-

ter. Next to it you will find: where Sala del Convitto, the ancient former

convent refectory and Sala Olivaia, the ancient olive storage room

where the olives where stored before the crushing, look on to.

Sala Olivaia, recently inaugurated, was renovated with particular atten-

tion to the original structure features such as: wooden beam ceiling and

terracotta paving.

The amazing view on the olive tree grove completes the hall, making it

an ideal location for exclusive events.
