• Nike WHQ campus population: approx. 5500 • Average annual trash: 805 tons
• Average annual Recycling: 650 tons
• Tons of compost: 175 tons since July 2006
• # Of Buildings: 18 WHQ, 4 West Campus, & 6 Millikan
• Details: 2 cafeterias, 2 child care facilities, 2 fitness centers, 1 convention center, 14 office buildings & 1 parking garage
• Materials: over 25 different items are recycled
here (paper, plastic, batteries, glass, metal, video & audio tapes, cell phones, cloth scraps, etc.)
• Employee innovations: coffee cup lid collections, scrap paper notepads, internal free-cycle, & plastic bag roundups
