4. First Aid Measures
Eyes: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart for at least ten minutes. Ifsymptoms develop, obtain medical attention.
Skin: Wash the skin with water.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and give 200 – 300ml (half a pint) of water to drink. If symptomsdevelop, obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure.

6. Accidental Release Measures
Small Spillages: Clear up spillage. Transfer to a container for disposal.
Large Spillages: As for small spillages. Large uncontrolled discharges into watercourses, drains or sewersmust be immediately alerted to the environmental agency or other appropriate regulatory body.

Handling: Avoid prolonged skin contact. Atmospheric levels should be controlled in compliance with theoccupational exposure limit. Keep away from strong acids and common metals.
Storage: Keep container dry. Keep away from strong acids.

Eye contact: Dust may cause irritation. Ingestion: May cause vomiting anddiarrhoea. The swallowing of small amounts is unlikely to cause any adverse effects. Long term exposure:Repeated ingestion of excessive amounts may cause disturbance of body electrolyte and fluid balance.
