15th September—Evening of Maxican Cusine & Music Fiesta New Papal Exhortation—Gaudete Et Exsultate - ‘

Call to Holiness in today’s world’ - Pope Francis’ latest exhortation on the Call to Holiness in to-day’s world is very encouraging. CTS have pro-duced copies in an attractive booklet form, or it can be downloaded free from the Vatican Web-site. Just Google the Vatican website &look for it.

This is advanced notice that in September a Parish Pastoral Group is forming. The role of the group is to offer support to the parish community wherever there is need. Examples of possible activities the group will engage in: visiting the sick and housebound, organising activities specifically for those less able to access parish social events, providing transport. We hope this group will pro-vide practical and spiritual support to channel the energies of those who want to help and are looking for a way to engage and for the many parishioners already active in helping others. A brief informative talk after mass and short meeting at coffee will take place on 16th Sept.
