Rising from the Southwest, Codex Alimentarius formed in 2009 and set about crafting an Individual style fusing melodic and brutal metal. Within a short amount of time ‘Baptised’ from their debut release 'The Infinite Growth Paradigm Vs Finite Resources' (2010) was made available for the internationally acclaimed Xbox and PS3 game ‘Rock Band 3’ and toured with Vader and Krisiun along with their own headline tours and supporting bands such as Malefice, The Defiled, Evile, Romeo Must Die & Ted Maul - cementing a strong fan base locally and nationally within the UK and nominated for the ‘Best Rock/Metal Act’ at the 2012
Southwest Music Awards.

The release received great reviews and Codex's first music video 'Trajectory'was soon getting airplay, online music video TV spotlight
and was featured on a Metal Hammer and Terrorizer magazine covermounts - leading to festival apperances at Bloodstock, Beermageddon, Incineration and Mammoth Fest and a string of co-headline tours across the UK including the ‘From Hell To Oblivion UK Tour’ with American death metallers
EnemyReign.

Metal Art.
