• Now an exciting time• Programme of performance improvements

– small bug fixes and design changes– search improvements– load times– administrative improvements for efficiency

• Development of tablet version• Outputs into word processing document

Local Benchmarking Club Review 1

• A pilot for us as well as for you• EMPN came up with 25-30 indicators which

we consulted on• But a high level of engagement from the

sector: 400 votes resulting in five indicators• Likely to add some new indicators in the next

year

• Learnt it takes a lot of work to identify items– for the network– for the LGA, particularly on definitions

• Learnt we need expert engagement from authorities

• Some quality issues with submitted data– third of data required checking back– and in most cases it was wrong– what do you advise?!

Next Steps

• Increase the size of the basket of indicators• Get more authorities taking part – 140 now

– half of East Midlands authorities• Review of the first year
