27 Medication Take Back 2:00-4:00 pmIs your medicine cabinet full of expired drugs or medications you no lon-ger use? Medicines play an important role in treating many conditions and diseases, but when they are no longer needed it is important to dispose of them properly to reduce harm from accidental exposure to small children and pets or intentional misuse. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe and responsible means of disposing of prescrip-tion drugs. If you cannot make the National Take Back day on Saturday, October 28th from 10am – 2pm at the TASD Administration Building on Jefferson, please drop your unused medicines by the Wadley Senior Clinic. Senior Clinic Social Worker Laura Smith will also have information available on rec-ommended disposal of medicines to help keep your home safe throughout the year.
