EVALUATION

v The 3D technique I used is wire and plaster to make an extension

of the wire sculpture. Materials I used are wire, paper, plaster.

v  In my work I have used white and black colours. With white colour

I associate a person and with black I associate his cloth.

work communicate? Has it got a meaning? Does it serve a purpose? Has the artist worked from memory or real life? And how can you tell?

Yes, this is human being, he or she sitting on the floor and I think its kid.The use of metal to create the form talks of strength of human beings. This peace of work is large and very strong but the pose is protective. It make us think how strong we are but we fear to do things we want. This artist has worked from real life he made figure of real human. This artist got his inspiration from: - Environment. What he see, touch, taste, smell, hear.- Internet. Viewing artists work and the general influence of social networking sites.  - Friends and Family.

Birds trying to escape their drawing The focus again with this sculpture piece is the rejection of the plan and the subject matter.

Shadows below give the subject an angle of depth and that the subject is not in proportion to the shadows makes the subject more animated. The birds’ here are in 3d proportions showing the body and wings which can be seen in different potions either flying or bending down.

The symbolism in this work is what the drive to see every part of it from the top of the tree to the bottom skeleton. I as the viewer get the meaning as it portrays the fall of man by eating from the forbidding tree thus embracing death as punishment.

the tree seems to be drawn with black cil as the shape of the skeleton is also white with its features giving way to shadow instead of lines borders. penThe use of color absence of color is also interesting as the picture of

PETER CALLESEN

Chaotic Utopia Colour - The use of color absence of color is also interesting as the picture of the forest seems to be drawn with black pencil as the form of the waterfall is also white with its features giving way to shadow instead of lines borders. Form – The waterfall here is in 3d proportion showing the water falling down. Shape – it is a 3d work on a peace of a paper. Texture – the texture of the piece is rough because of the middle part of it with joint like lines . Tone - Shadows below give the subject an angle of depth and that the subject is not in proportion to the shadows makes the subject more animated. Has it got a meaning? This is waterfall in forest. The forest on the top and waterfall goes all the way down. Is it telling a story? Its may have a story of forest live and the story of waterfall . Does it serve a purpose? Its showing a beauty of waterfall and forest. Has the artist worked from memory or real life? This peace of art was copied from real life of Peter Callesen. I can tell it because this is a picture of nature it is real waterfall with forest behind.

TEXTURES

I chose these pictures as the textures for the projection photographs because I thought they could look good, althougth I could only use one picture, which is metal textur at the top right corner

Antony Gormley's 'Field for the British Isles' is at The British Museum until January 26 2003. Field features an invasion of 40,000 handmade clay figures into the Great Court at the heart of the British Museum.

This type of art is linked to my work because we can see a lot of small clay figures and in my work we can see a lot of tanks and that’s the only thing that is different.

Page 21: 2D project

3D WORK

. Tanks are killing machines. They painted in dark tons so enemy cant find them. Tanks are associated with war. But what if we paint them in bright colours the colours of peace. Tanks will look friendly and this colours on them would tell us “No war needed” People will became more peaceful. Nearly all of tanks are mini models of real tanks.

This are amazing works of Ben Turnbull and this works are also linked to mine because same as Turnbull I am creating a mini prototypes of weapons.

Just when you think you have seen everything, it gets better.  Ben Turnbull, London-based artist, creates guns into old wooden school desks.
