2G to 5G Mobile Networks (Beginner Level) Course Description This course is designed to provide 2 days of introductory training to the mobile telecommunications industry. Initially, a summary of where networks are today will be provided, before then exploring each specific technology generation in turn. The story will start with 2G, exploring its current deployment and use cases. Alongside this discussion will also feature 3G, with focus on the commonalities and differences between the two technologies. 4G networks based on LTE will then be examined alongside Cellular IoT, before shifting focus to the latest generation of mobile technologies, 5G.
