Assessment Evidence (Stage 2)Performance Task Description

Teachers will understand the basics of a Plickers account. Teachers will understand how to navigate within the Plickers application. Teachers will interpret the educational benefits of utilizing formative assessments for future instructional planning. Teachers will discuss with others pros and cons to using Plickers for data collection. Teachers will use archived formative assessments stored within the Plickers application. Teachers will understand how multimedia and technology can enhance teaching and learning. Teachers will create an individual Plickers account. Teachers will understand the function and operation of the Plickers dynamics when scanning for formative assessments. Teachers will be able to view participation and advise students that have not yet completed the assessment questions. Teachers will be able to use data collected to debrief students for remediation or enrichment based on the assessment results. Teachers will understand the benefits of immediate assessment for time management in instructional planning. Teachers will be able to provide administration, students, and peers with a method of data collection for student instructional goals. Teachers will be able to utilize any device that has a camera capacity to scan and collect data during formative assessments. Teachers will be able to provide students the opportunity to assess standards in an innovative and technological manner for ease of delivery
