Luke watched Claire finish knitting the woollen sock. Claire smiled andheld it up.

See! She said. Luke returned the smile as he looked over atMichael. Luke was about to say something to Michael when the dooropened. A young woman walked in and closed the door quickly behindher.

Quick, we dont have much time! She whispered. The three ofthem just sat there. Come on, we have to go! Theyre going to take yourbaby. She added, looking at Claire.

Why should we trust you? We dont even know who you are!Called Michael.

My name is Alex... You have to trust me! I swear! Alex replied. Hereyes were wide with horror as she pleaded with them.

We should go. Luke said, standing up and walked over to Alex.Come on! The rest of you! Alex pleaded once more.

Alex led Claire, Luke and Michael through the jungle. It was now nighttime. They stopped in a clearing and Alex turned to them.

I have to get back. Otherwise theyll be wondering where I am andthink I had something to do with this. Just follow this path... It should lead

you back to your group. Go! Alex pointed along the path. Slowly, Luke ledthe three of them away.

The Operation room door burst open and Ms. Klugh walked in with a smileon her face. Ethan and Tom turned to look at her.

Good news! She exclaimed, stopping in front of them. Mr. Galehas finally cooperated. He told us his story. It seems we now have an alibi.Its time for one of us to... Infiltrate their group. Ms. Klughs smile grewwider as Ethan and Tom smiled back.

Excellent. Tom replied as the door burst open once more. Howard

stood there.I just went to get the girl... Theyve gone! He shouted.

Jack and Kate carried Nathan into the hatch and lay him down on one ofthe beds. Locke limped in from the computer room and stared down at

Nathan.It worked?!Did what work? Jack asked as he started to check Nathan over. He

was still unconscious.Your plan to trade Henry for Nathan? Locke had moved a little

further into the room. He propped his crutch up against the wall as hecontinued to look down at Nathan.

No, it didnt work... Jack said, obviously getting pissed at Lockenow. He just wanted to check that Nathan was ok.

So how... Locke began.He just turned up. In the clearing. Kate replied, trying to prevent

another fight.Oh. Well you can look after the hatch... Im going for a walk. Locke

took his crutches back and limped from the room.

Locke sat down on the beach with a notepad and pen in his hands. He wastrying (and failing) to draw the map he had seen during the lockdown.Sayid walked up to him and sat beside him.

What are you doing John? Sayid asked as he looked down at themap. Locke didnt look at Sayid.

Jack is at the hatch. Nathan has returned. Locke said lamely. It was

obvious Locke didnt want to be interrupted or talk. Sayid got themessage. He stood up and walked away. Locke continued to draw his mapuntil he was interrupted once more.

Hello, John. Mr. Eko said as he stood over Locke.

Hurley was sat beside Libby on the beach.Did you realize that we have been together for two years today?

Libby asked Hurley. Hurley frowned.Really? Its been that long?Yeah, really. We should do something. To celebrate. Libby smiled.What did you have in mind? Hurley asked.

Umm... A picnic?

Sayid and Ana Lucia walked into the bedroom of the hatch to find Jack stillexamining Nathan. Kate was stood beside Jack with a glass of water in herhands.

What are you doing here? Jack asked as he looked up.John told me that Nathan was back. Sayid replied, looking down at

Nathan. We wanted to know what had been going on.Well we dont know, Kate informed them. He hasnt woken since

we found him in the jungle.

Jack took the water from Kate and poured a little of it into Nathans barelyopen mouth. Nathan coughed the water back up and opened his eyes.

Jack... Nathan croaked. Jack placed the water down onto the tableand helped Nathan up to a seating position.

Luke was sat at his desk as the phone rang. He answered it and smiledwhen he heard who was on the other end.

Hey, Luke. Polly said to Luke from the other end of the phone.How are you?

Polly! Luke called, grinning. Im good thanks. Howre the twins?Oh, theyre good. Theyve been asking after you. They want to see

you.Im free this weekend, should I come up? Luke looked up as the

door opened and a man walked in. I have to go, tell Zach and Emma Illsee them soon. He hung up the phone.The man walked up to Luke and Luke smiled at him.

How can I help you?Mr. Parsons? The man asks.Yes, sit. Luke indicated the chair in front of him and Christian

Shepherd sits down in front of him.

Luke looked up from the book he held in his hands and jumped back. Thebook dropped to the floor. In front of Luke stood Christian Shepherd, suitan all. Christian stared at Luke who looked back, both curious and scared.

How... Luke began but Christian turned and walked into the jungle.Luke ran after him. What! He called. Mr. Shepherd? Wait!Christian stopped walking and turned to look at Luke.

Meet me... When the smoke starts to burn. Christian said, his

voice distorted, echoing. He walked into the trees until he was hidden bythe undergrowth... And he was gone. Leaving Luke staring after him.

What the...

Nathan was now sat up on the bed, looking at Jack. Ana, Sayid and Katehad crowded around the bed. Nathan had already begun telling them hisstory.

So they took me. And we were walking for what felt like days.Nathan said. He paused to take a drink of the water before continuing.And eventually we came to this campsite. On the side of this cliff. With ametal door leading into the cliff and tepee tents and dried fish and... They

tied me up in one of the tents. And then this woman came to see me. Andshe asked me some questions. I was taken to this room... And they didsome tests on me. I didnt understand what they were. But I managed toescape. Eventually. This young woman... Alex... Helped me to escape.Nathans story concluded and Jack glanced at Kate.

Alex? He asked her. Kate nodded.Maybe... She did say they took an Alex. Kate replied.When you two have finished talking in private... Sayid said.Did you see anyone else when you were there? Any children?

I had a dream last night. I saw my brother. He told me what to do. Ifyou will not continued to press the button... Then I will. Eko stood up andwalked away. Locke ripped a piece of paper from his notebook and hurledit to the ground.

A few hours later, Luke walked into the hatch. He sat down on the sofa,leant back and closed his eyes. Ana walked in from the computer roomand smiled.

Oh, hey.Hello, Ana. Luke replied. Where is everyone?Theyve all gone to the beach. We had to wait for someone to take

over the button. Do you mind?No, not at all. Luke shook his head.Nathan is in there, asleep. Just go in and check up on him in a bit

please? Ana picked up her backpack.Alright. Ill see you later.

Ana walked from the hatch.

I forgot the blankets. Hurley groaned as Libby walked up to him.Libby shook her head.

What are you like?Hurley smiled and Libby returned it.

Tell you what... Go and try and flag down Rose and Bernard. I sawthem with a bottle of wine before. From the food parcel... And Ill go andfind us some blankets.

Luke picked up the phone and hesitated. After a moment, he dialled anumber and put the receiver to his ear.

Id like a book a taxi please... Umm, the airport... About half anhour. He hung up the phone and placed it down onto the table. He thenpicked up a white stick and hobbled out of the room, tapping the stick onthe ground as he went...

Nathan walked out of the bedroom, stretching, and over to the sofa whereLuke was sat. He had a gun out in his hand. Nathan looked at it.

Whats that for?Oh, youre up. Nothing. Luke put the gun into the back of his pants

and stood up. I was just cleaning it. Would you like anything to eat? Ihave to go give Henry some food.

No, its fine.Nathan sat down on the sofa as Luke picked up a tray of food from thecounter. He walked over to the armoury door and opened it. Henry lookedup at him.

Your dinner. Luke said, placing the tray down on the floor besideHenry. Henry glanced down at the rope that tied up his hands.

How am I supposed to eat?Luke rolled his eyes and took out a pen-knife. He cut Henrys ropes and

then turned to leave. Henry jumped up, lunging for the back of Lukespants. He grabbed the gun and pointed it at Luke.

Whoa!! Luke shouted. Calm down...BANG!! Luke was cut off as Henry shot him with the gun, blasting himback out of the room!! Luke slumped to the floor beside the counter andHenry ran out of the armoury and saw Nathan stood there. Nathan madeto back away but...

BANG!!! Nathan was blown to the ground also. Henry stood for a momentlooking down at the two men as blood seeped across the floor...

Luke... A woman screamed from the doorway. And Henry wasshooting before he even knew who was there. Libby dropped to theground, two bullet holes going through the blankets she held in her arms.Henry stood over her for a moment before running from the room.

HENRY: Theyre coming to us.

VO: Claire makes a startling discovery regarding her pregnancy...

CLAIRE: Oh my God!

VO: The true father of Aaron is revealed...

Claire dancing in a club with Samantha as a man walks over to her.

VO: And the survivors deal with the aftermath of the homicide in thehatch.

KATE: He shot them too... They died.

JACK: ... Were murdered.
