Robyn Rihanna Fenty as known as Rihanna was born on 20th February 1988. She is a Barbadian artist and actress and her career began when she met the record producer Evan Rogers in 2003. When she turned 16 she went to the United States to pursue with her recording career, this is when she started recording demos. Shortly after she got a contract with Def Jam Recordings after she had to audition for Jay – Z. She is categorised into the genre of RnB but swiftly hits pop, dancehall, reggae, hip hop and dance. Today, Rihanna has successfully made her first fashion range in Armani which started in 2011. Also she has collaborated with many different artists from other genres for example; Coldplay. In February 2012 she

released her 2nd perfume and within this same month she won her third Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 54th Grammy Awards. At the same time she was voted for ‘Best International Female Solo Artist’ at the Brit Awards for the second consecutive year in 2012.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter known as Beyoncé was born 4th September 1981. She is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress who were raised in Texas. She was exposed to performing arts at school as a child and rose into fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child. This group was one of the world’s best selling girl groups at this time. This group decided to go solo in 2006 as they thought they would be more successful. In 2008, April 4th she got married to Jay – Z in New York City following a couples years down the line on January 7, 2012, Knowles gave birth to a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Knowles and he mother introduced the contemporary women’s fashion line in 2005 called House of Deréon.

Alicia Augello Cook was born in 25th January 1981 and is known as Alicia Keys. She is an American RnB singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. She attended Professional Performing Arts School and graduated at 16. Her album was released with J Records. In May 2010, a representative for Keys and Swizz Beatz confirmed that they were engaged and expecting a child together.
