GENERAL NOTES

Situation Totley Hall Farm has excellent access from Sheffield and Baslow and Owler Bar and lies close to the A621 Owler Bar/Sheffield Road. From Baslow pick up the A621 signposted Sheffield and travel over the moor for approximately 7 miles to Owler Bar roundabout. Again, pick up the A621 and travel down the hill passing the works on the left into the village of Totley. Travel approximately 600 yards and turn right into Totley Hall lane opposite Hillfoot Road. The farm lies along the lane on the right hand side after approximately 400 yards. From the centre of Sheffield pick up the A621 signed Totley, Dore and Baslow. Continue out of the city for approximately 4 miles and on reaching Totley turn left opposite Hillfoot Road into Totley Hall Lane. The farm lies along the lane on the right hand side after approximately 400 yards.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Loading Facilities – These will be provided up until approximately 5pm on sale day.

Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. This very genuine retirement dispersal sale arises as a result of the surrender of the tenancy of Totley Hall Farm and many will know that the Pocock Family have farmed on the holding for 35 years. All locals will know that the sheep have already been sold off the holding and this leaves an excellently maintained range of equipment for dispersal by auction.
