INDUCTION PROGRAMME AT SSTC FOR FIRST YEAR
STUDENTS
In continuation of the rich tradition followed in our campus of giving a
ceremonial welcome to our first year students, this year too , Shri Shankara-
charya Technical Campus organized “INDUCTION PROGRAMME” on Thurs-
day 30th July for Shri Shankaracharya group of institution, Shri Shankaracharya
Engineering College and Shri Shankaracharya Institutie of Technology and Man-
agement.
The program started with Saraswati Pooja, followed by an welcome
speech by Dr. Neeta Tripathi Principal (SSEC) . Vice Principal (SSITM) Dr. R.
Talwakar explains the College edrp system and TA calculation to students and
parents. Shri I.P. Mishra President Shri Gangajali Education Society was the
Chief guest for the Induction Program. In his blessing speech he shared the man-
tra of achieving success in Engineering Other Special Guests were Shri Ab-
hishek Mishra , Vice President, Gangajali Education Society, and Mrs. Jaya
Mishra , Joint Secretary , Gangajali Education Society.
On this occasion Mrs Jaya Mishra Jt. Secretary SGES, Dr. P.B.
Deshmukh Director SSTC, Dr. Neeta Tripathi Principal SSEC, Dr G.R. Sinha As-
sot. Director SSTC , Dr. R. Talwakar, Vice-Principal SSITM , Shri Lalji Mashra
Director P & A graced function.

Student Council Election-2014 at SSEC-SSTC Student Council Election was successfully conducted on 27 th August As per Ordinance no
28 of CSVTU Bhilai ,under the guidance of Prof. R.S. Panda. The election was conducted smoothly.
A lottery system was scheduled on 20th August for Women Reservation. .

SSTC-SSEC Celebrates “ World Youth Skill Day”
The inaugural World Youth Skills Day was celebrated on 15 July, 2015 with fanfare
around the world. Along with various national and regional skill organizations, as well as govern-
mental and non-governmental agencies, WorldSkills was proud to celebrate the first-ever day dedi-
cated to focusing global attention on the relevance and critical importance of skills and youth devel-
opment as a tool to benefit economies and societies.
SSTC-SSEC also celebrated “World Youth Skill Day” on 15th July under NSS Chapter. De-
bate competition was organized on this occasion of “Youth Skill Day”. Topic for the debate com-
petition was “Corruption can be eradicated by joining politics only”. Anneesha Chattopadhyay
of 5th A (Mechanical) stood first in Engilish Debate and M. Shriniwas Raju of 7th
A (Mechanical) stood first in Hindi Debate by judgemrnt of the jurey members
Dr. S. Srakar –Proffessor and Head-FMS, Dr. Ranjana Das Prof. Humanities –
SSEC
On This occasion Principal SSTC-SSEC Dr. Neeta Tripathi Addressed
the students. All the Hod’s of respective department ,faculty members and stu-

SSTC-SSEC organized a workshop on 3-D printing technology conducted by “Robo Shaastra” on
21/9/15. Student of 5th Sem and 3rd Sem participated and were of grately benefitted.

The Birth Anniversary of late Prime Minister
of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi is observed as
"Sadbhavana Diwas" on 20th August nation-wide
every year. The theme of "Sadbhavana Diwas" is to
promote National Integration and communal har-
mony among the people of all religions and lan-
guages. “Sadbhawna Diwas” was celebrated on
21st August in SSTC-SSEC under NSS Chapter.

Engineer’s Day Celebrated at SSEC -SSTC on 15th September by all Departments Engineer’s day was celebrated by the student on 15 September to commemorate the
birth day of Bharathatna Sri M. Visvesvaraya. The Chief guest of the function was Shri I.P.
Mishra ,President SGES. He spoke about what is engineering and recent development in this field . On
this occasion Mrs. Jaya Mishra Jt. Secretary SGES, Dr. Neeta Tripathi Principal SSEC were present.
In CSE Departement Prof. R.S. Panda addressed the student in the context of the significance
of the event. Many cultural events were organized.
On the Occasion of Engineer's Day, Electronics & Telecommunication Department SSTC-SSEC
organized A Circuit designing Competition " ELECTROMANIA 2015" on 15th September
2015 under IETE chapter.

Sahu, CSE 3rd Sem. In IT Department Prof. Animesh Singh addressed the
students and many cultural events were organized
In Mechanical Department Prof. Swapnil Jain addressed
the students and organized a quiz competition .
NSS Day Celebrated At SSTC-SSEC NSS was formally launched on 24th September, 1969, the birth centenary
year of the Father of the Nation. Therefore, 24 September is celebrated every year as
NSS Day with appropriate programmes and activities. On the occasion of National Ser-
vice Scheme (NSS) day on 24th September 2015 SSTC-SSEC organized an Inter college Co-curriculum
competition with events like Poster making, debate, Quiz competition
Winner of quiz competition were Radhika Agrawal of ETC 5th Sem. (SSEC) and Kumud Yadav of
EEE 5th Sem (SSITM) .
Topic of Poster competition was Clean India Mission and 1st Position was secured by Har-
man Kang of ETC 3rd sem were as 2nd Position was secured by D . Meghna of ETC 3rd sem and 3rd
position holder was Harjeet Kalia of ETC 5th Sem under the judgment given by Shri M.C. Tanaja
Workshop Suprindent SSITM and Dr. M.L. Verma Professor and Head First Year FET.
Topic of Hindi Debate Competition was “Reservation on all fields” the winner were Rajiv
Chakradhari of ETC 1st Sem , SSGI, Sweety Singh MCA ,SSGI and the Topic of English Debate So-
cial Networking the winner were Vaibhav Upadhaya ETC,SSGI, Madhuri Jha7th Sem ETC San-
jana Verma V Sem ETC under the judgement given by Ms. Nam-
rata Bhargava Aisst. Prof. Humanities FET, Mrs. Rakhi Saxena
Aisst. Prof.Humanities FET and Mrs. Manisha Singh Aisst. Prof. Hu-
manities SSITM
Four students of ETC department awarded certificates for
their ccontribution in NSS camp held at Arasnara Village during 12
feb to 18 feb 2015.
On This occasion Principal SSTC-SSEC Dr. Neeta Tripathi
addressed the students. All the Hod’s of respective departments and
faculty members and students were present .

Teachers Day was celebrated at SSTC -SSEC by Department’s on 5th September
Teacher’s day was celebrated on 5th September by the Students to respect the
selfless efforts of teachers and honour Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher, academic phi-
losopher and India's Second President as he was born on the same day in 1888. The programmes Started
with the lightening of lamp and Saraswati pooja. On this Occasion Principal, Dr. Neeta Tripathi, ad-
vised students to focus on their career and to become more Knowledge oriented rather than simply pass-
ing the exams.
In CSE Departement Prof. R.S. Panda , Dr. A. K. Tiwari addressed the students and cultural event
was organized.
In ET&T Department Prof. Yogesh Bahendwar addressed the students that each person should be
ethically rich because everybody in self is a teacher and we learn from others as they also learn from
us. So one should have strong principles and morals. Many games and cultural programmes were
organized by students for teachers.
In IT Department Prof. Animesh Singh addressed the students and many cultural events were or-
ganized
In Mechanical Department Prof. Swapnil Jain addressed the students and organized a quiz com
petition .
First Year students also celebrated the day by organizing many contest for teachers like one minute
puzzle , G.K, etc.

SSTC -SSEC Celebrated Vishwakarma Puja followed by Mahabhog
Lord Vishwakarma is the divine architect or craftsman, the name Vishwakarma means “all
doer” or “maker of all”. Every year 17th September is celebrated as Vishwakarma Puja .
Mechanical Department of SSEC-SSTC celebrated Vishwakarma puja at Workshop . The Chief
guest of the function Shri I.P. Mishra ,President SGES performed puja. On this occasion Dr. P.B.
Deshmukh Director SSTC, Dr. Neeta Tripathi Principal SSEC, Dr. G.R. Sinha Assot. Director
SSTC , Dr. R. Talwakar Vice-Principal SSITM , all the Hod’s ,Faculty Members and students were
present. “MahaBhog” at SSEC –SSTC Campus was organized. All students of SSTC group re-
ceived the Prasad.
On 17th September 2014, Department of ET&T Organized Vishwakarma pooja in Electronics
Workshop Lab . On this occasion Hawan was organized participated by Dr. Neeta Tripathi, Princi-
pal SSEC , Prof. Yogesh Bahendwar, Head of Department, ET&T , staff members of SSEC and stu-
dents. The Programme concluded with Aarti and Prasad Distribution.

Championship-2015
Our student M.Chitra of CSE –Vth Sem has topped the university with
