What do you mean we cant use calculators? The Short Constructed Response (SCR) questions, which are administered during the first part of the test for all grades 3 through 8 students, will now be a NON-CALCULUATOR active section for all students. This new policy affects our bilingual and special needs population as well.

In our elementary grades of 3 and 4, the calculators will only be permitted during section/part 4 of the NJASK assessment.

In grades 5 through 8, the calculators will only be permitted during Part 4, Part 5 and Part 6 of the 2010 NJASK math assessment. These Parts will include Multiple Choice (MC) and Extended Constructed Response (ECR) questions. What to do until NJ ASK?
