- Victoria became a State of Australia in 1901

- Its climate is temperate and humid.

- In the Northwest there are semidesert plains.

- The most important river is the Murray.

- Important tourism: Phillip Island, Gippsland Lakes and Buchan Caves.

-Its capital is Melbourne.
