A time of devout fasting and prayer, Ramadan is a time for Muslims to seek God. This year during Ramadan, Resonate Global Mission invites you to focus your prayers on Muslims in your neighbor- hoods and throughout the world. Join us in praying that as Muslims seek God during Ramadan, they will encoun- ter Jesus. Pray for Practicing Muslims DAY 1: Friday, April 24 Ramadan officially started last night. Many Mus- lims have dreams and visions of Jesus during Ramadan. Pray that as Muslims seek God during Ramadan, they will encounter Jesus. DAY 2: Saturday, April 25 In John 6:35, Jesus says, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hun- gry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” As Muslims hunger and thirst while fast- ing during Ramadan, pray that they will know Jesus as the One who gives life. DAY 3: Sunday, April 26 Islam teaches that good deeds will earn God’s favor. Pray that Muslims will be delivered from the burden of striving to earn salvation and experience God’s grace. 30 Days of Prayer for Muslims

There are an estimated 1.8 billion Muslims in the world who don’t know the love of Jesus—but each year, Muslims celebrate Ramadan. A time of devout fasting and prayer, Ramadan is a time for Muslims to seek God.

This year during Ramadan, Resonate Global Mission invites you to focus your prayers on Muslims in your neighbor-hoods and throughout the world.

Join us in praying that as Muslims seek God during Ramadan, they will encoun-ter Jesus.

Pray for Practicing MuslimsDAY 1: Friday, April 24Ramadan officially started last night. Many Mus-lims have dreams and visions of Jesus during Ramadan. Pray that as Muslims seek God during Ramadan, they will encounter Jesus.

DAY 2: Saturday, April 25In John 6:35, Jesus says, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hun-gry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” As Muslims hunger and thirst while fast-ing during Ramadan, pray that they will know Jesus as the One who gives life.

DAY 4: Monday, April 27Pray for Islamic leaders. Ask that they will re-ceive a word from Jesus during Ramadan and that their lives will be transformed by the truth of the gospel.

DAY 5: Tuesday, April 28Pray for God to work in the hearts of Muslims who may practice Islam out of fear—fear of what would happen if they questioned Islam. Pray that they will encounter God’s perfect love that drives out fear (1 John 4:18).

DAY 6: Wednesday, April 29Pray for Islamic governments. Ask God to work in the hearts of government leaders—that they will let Christian missionaries and workers into their countries and allow Christianity to grow.

Pray for Muslims Who Are Questioning Their FaithDAY 7: Thursday, April 30Pray for Muslims who are doubting their faith and wondering about Christianity. Ask God to connect them with Christians and provide opportunities for them to learn the truth of the gospel.

DAY 8: Friday, May 1Pray for Muslims who are studying or reading the Bible for the first time. Ask God to open their eyes to see Jesus as Lord and Savior.

DAY 9: Saturday, May 2Pray for Muslims who have heard about Jesus as Savior but are having a hard time believing. Ask God to help their unbelief. Pray for clarity in confusion and for peace to overcome any fear of taking a step toward faith in Christ.

Pray for Muslim Background BelieversDAY 10: Sunday, May 3Give thanks for the many Muslims throughout the world who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Pray that they will continue growing in relationship with Jesus.

DAY 11: Monday, May 4Ramadan can be a difficult time for Christians who have converted from Islam, especially if they’re still living with or near family and friends still practicing Islam. Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen these new Christians and to give them wisdom when people ask them if they’re fasting and praying.

DAY 12: Tuesday, May 5In some parts of the world, Muslim Background Believers experience discrimination, threats, or violence for their new faith in Christ. Ask God to protect them from persecution.

DAY 13: Wednesday, May 6Pray for believers who have converted to Chris-tianity from Islam. Pray for boldness and oppor-tunities to share their faith.

DAY 14: Thursday, May 7Ask God to work powerfully through Muslim Background Believers so that their family and friends will meet Christ too.

DAY 15: Friday, May 8Pray for believers who have nowhere to gather for church or fellowship due to persecution or violence in their region. Ask the Holy Spirit to provide them with encouragement and a com-munity.

Pray for Missionaries and Ministries Working with MuslimsDAY 16: Saturday, May 9Pray for Resonate missionaries in the Middle East who are working with Muslims. Ask God for new relationships and opportunities to share the gospel; for good dialogue about faith; and for wisdom in speaking the truth.

DAY 17: Sunday, May 10Pray for the Fulani, a people group from a Muslim background that Resonate missionaries work with in West Africa. Pray that the Fulani would be especially receptive to the truth of the gospel during Ramadan.

DAY 18: Monday, May 11Pray for Resonate partner church plants in Can-ada and the United States who are ministering to Muslims. Ask God to draw more people to these communities and that they would meet Jesus as Lord and Savior.

DAY 19: Tuesday, May 12Many Resonate partner campus ministers in Canada and the United States work with Mus-lims students. Pray that these ministers will have the opportunity to share the gospel and that students will be open to hearing about Jesus.

DAY 20: Wednesday, May 13Pray for Resonate missionaries who are working with Muslim immigrants and refugees in Berlin, Germany. Ask God for wisdom and guidance in their ministry and for opportunities to introduce Muslims to Christ.

DAY 21: Thursday, May 14Pray for ministry leaders who are part of Res-onate’s Journeying into Friendships Network. They’re learning how to better share the gospel with people of different faiths, including Mus-lims. Pray for God to work through these minis-try leaders.

DAY 22: Friday, May 15Pray for Resonate missionaries in British Co-lumbia who work with a people group from a Muslim background. Give thanks for the many people who have found life in Christ through their ministry!

DAY 23: Saturday, May 16Pray for Resonate missionaries in Central Asia who are working closely with Muslims in schools, nonprofits, and more. Pray for opportu-nities to share the gospel.

Pray for Christians to Share the GospelDAY 24: Sunday, May 17Pray for regions where tensions are high be-tween Christians and Muslims. Ask God to open the hearts and minds of Muslims and Christians toward one another. Pray that God’s peace will reign and that Muslims will meet Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

DAY 25: Monday, May 18Many Muslims immigrating to Canada and the United States may have the opportunity to hear the gospel for the first time. Pray for the Holy Spirit to prepare hearts for hearing the gospel.

DAY 26: Tuesday, May 19Pray for the work of Salaam 2.0, a Resonate initiative in Canada that equips members of the CRCNA to confidently engage their Muslim neighbors. Ask God to open doors for Chris-tians in North America to connect with Muslims neighbors, friends, and co-workers.

DAY 27: Wednesday, May 20Pray for Christians who are engaging in inter-faith dialogue with Muslims. This is an opportu-nity for Christians to learn more about Muslims and their spiritual journey while also authenti-cally witnessing to the truth of Jesus Christ.

DAY 28: Thursday, May 21Do you know any Muslims? Pray for your Mus-lim friends by name—that they may find abun-dant life in Jesus. If you don’t know any Muslims personally, ask God for an encounter with a Muslim. Pray that you can show them the love of Jesus in a practical way.

DAY 29: Friday, May 22Pray for CRCNA congregations who are hearing God’s call to reach their Muslim neighbors. Pray for the pastors, leaders, and members of these churches who are committed to this call—ask God to guide them.

DAY 30: Saturday, May 23Pray for Muslims as Ramadan ends. Shifting from 30 days of fasting and praying to a normal daily routine can be disorienting. Ask the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts as they reflect on Ramadan. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead them to Jesus.
