The National Black Catholic History Month
Celebration in the Mobile Archdiocese will be
celebrated on November 04, 2017 in Mobile,
AL. The celebration will begin at 11:00 AM with
the Celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate
Conception. At the conclusion of Mass, we will
proceed to the Renaissance Mobile Riverview
Plaza Hotel in beautiful Downtown Mobile for
lunch and the concluding celebratory program.
The cost of the delicious luncheon will be $30.00
per person. The reduced cost of each kid-friendly
meal for children 11 years and under is $20.00.

least 6 months prior to the desired wedding date.
Parents desiring Baptism for their children are encouraged to contact the
Rectory to arrange for the required preparation class
for parents and Godparents.
When a Funeral is to be celebrated, please contact the priest before
contacting the Funeral Home. Funerals are not permitted on Sundays
or Holy Days of Obligation.

and Doughnuts on the First Sunday of
each month after the 8 & 11 am Masses .
Put on your athletic shoes and hit
the pavement for the Poor during
the St. Vincent de Paul’s “Friends
of the Poor Walk,” to be held
Saturday, September 30th, at Lyons Park . Walk
begins at 8:00am. Signup sheet is in the lobby of
the church.
Again this year for Fall Festival you will be able
to pre-order/purchase your tickets for Food, Games
and Events by simply stopping by the Parish Office.
Incentive is to get $30.00 worth of tickets for
$25.00.

is scheduled for

Ministries and organizations of the
parish will sponsor various booths.
There will be raffle tickets and each
family household will be responsible
for 3 books
At all of our Masses this weekend
The Parish Life Committee would like for

Parish Hall and sign up to join a ministry.

Plans for the Mobile Area Inter-Parish Council Annual Revival,
scheduled for Sunday, October 8, 2017 through Wednesday, October
11, 2017 are being completed. The Theme for this year is "Beyond
the River". The Revivalist will be Reverend Linus Nwatarali of the
Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Nigeria. He is currently working in the
Archdiocese of New Mexico for the Military Services as Chaplain for
Kirkland Air Force Base. Each evening will begin with "Praise and
Worship". On Sunday it will begin at 5:00 P.M. when the Youth will
be in charge; and the service led by the Revivalist will begin at 6:00
P.M. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, for the adults, it will
begin at 6:00 P.M. and the service will begin at 7:00 P.M. A repast
will follow each night after the services.
