reduce your fuel consumption and wake up refreshed with this
compact, highly efficient auxiliary air conditioning system that is
the most powerful on the market. A new higher-efficiency
dual-circuit evaporator coil keeps your cab cool and comfortable
for 8 hours or more in typical systems, depending on the battery
system storage capacity, without running the engine.
Providing 7,000 BTUs, the battery-powered split system allows
the noise of the condenser unit to remain outside while the quieter
evaporator unit blows cool air in the cabs interior. The
centrifugal blower provides high air flow and can rotate for either
vertical or horizontal discharge to suit the installation needs.
Superior dehumidification capacity makes the cab feel cooler
sooner.
Designed for the harsh trucking environment, both the interior
and exterior units are vibration and corrosion resistant. The
internal electrical box has easy-start circuitry to minimize
starting-current surge. A smart digital thermostat controls the
system, ensuring precise temperature control and optimal
operation.
With a very small footprint relative to cooling capacity, the
Blizzard Turbo split system requires minimal installation space and
its flexible refrigerant line sets require minimal holes in the cab
floor or panels. Units and line sets are pre-charged, and
refrigerant line connections are made with no-leak quick-connect
fittings, allowing for easier and faster installation. Easily
accessible external service ports provide convenient service access
if needed.
The Split-System Blizzard Turbo is also available with optional
electric heat.
Easy-access pressure ports and quick-disconnect refrigerant
fittings make service and installation easy.
