The USA-Interns Program fosters intercultural understanding by providing study-related internships to German and US students as a first-hand understanding of the work and living environment in the host country. It was founded by the Steuben-Schurz- Gesellschaft e.V. in 1999 and has been co-financed by the U.S. Consulate Frankfurt from 2003 through 2007. The Hessen Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts is partner of the USA-Interns Program.
