N otes that point to Y eshuaN otes that point to Y eshuaN otes that point to Y eshuaN otes that point to Y eshua 1- Num 19 The Waters of Purification; The Red Heifer=Parah Adumah. - The Red Heifer Rashi states; “What is the purpose of this

commandment” This is still one of those laws, with no understanding; Chukah. In Job we have the logic as to ‘why’ Yahweh gave this Chukah. Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?

2- This is a Mystery, Chukah! Anyone associated with this sacrifice, (the Clean People) becomes “UNCLEAN! But anyone who accepts the death, the ashes, the crucifixion, becomes “CLEAN!! Wow, you solved the Mystery. Messiah Rocks, He is the Rock!!

3- The sacrifice wasn’t a steer or a bull but a female, symbolic of a sacrifice for the bride, also a picture of Ephraim. a. Hos 10:11 “And Ephraim is a heifer that is taught, that loves to tread out the grain; but I have passed over upon her fair neck: I will set a rider

on Ephraim; Judah shall plow, Jacob shall break his clods.” b. Gen 15:9 The Covenant with Abraham uses a 3 year old ‘Heifer”, another picture of Yeshua and the Bride. c. v.1-3 Never having a yoke, Yeshua never had an ulterior motive, a goal, a master other than YHVH, never had a blemish or

yoke of the World or Egypt. His ONLY YOKE is us! Mat 11:30 “For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.” Are we unequally yoked with Yeshua?

i. Isa 9:4 “you have broken the yoke of his burden, the staff of his shoulder, & the rod of his oppressor.”

ii. Gal 5:1 “… Messiah hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

iii. Heb 7:26 “For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;”

d. In John 3 Nicodemus asks Yeshua “how can a man be born again”? Yeshua says ‘how can you be a teacher-rabbi of Israel and not understand this?” Do you? This is the water of Purification.

e. v.1-3The high priest instructed others to do the sacrifice, as Caiaphas instructed his priests then the Romans, to ‘crucify’ Yeshua The instructions to others, the high priest and the priests conspired together to kill the sacrifice, Yeshua. This is all a great Picture of Yeshua.

f. Did the Jews know that Yeshua was the sacrifice for all the Sheep of Israel? John 11:49-53 Caiaphas, being the high priest that year, said… that one man should die for the people, & that the whole nation perish not. Caiaphas prophesied that Yeshua should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

g. The High priest didn’t go outside the camp to the areas of unclean where the sacrifice took place. John 18:28 They led Yeshua from Kayafa to the governor's headquarters. By now it was early morning. They did not enter the headquarters building because they didn't want to become ritually defiled and thus unable to eat the Pesach meal.

4- v.6 Cedar Wood, hyssop, and a scarlet thread was also put in the fire. Cedar-wood was the symbol of the incorruptible continuance of life; Hyssop is a symbol of purification from the corruption of death, with the blood to put HIS mark on you; & the Scarlet Thread is the thread that ties us to Yeshua. Yeshua has woven it from the beginning of time, it ties us to Him, to the patriarchs, and to the apostles and forgives (symbol of the Blood) so we may walk this Halachah.

5- V.7-8 all of those that participated in the sacrifice and the ashes became ‘unclean’ (tamei). We have a ritual application for Asham, Lev 5, the unclean offering, but you are unclean for 7 days. On the third day you mikveh, symbolic of the 3 days Yeshua was in the belly of the earth, the 3 years of HIS ministry, then again on the 7th day, the days of completion, the 7,000 years of completion before new beginnings, (8). This has become known as the Laws of Touching the Dead.

6- V.9 A man that is Clean (tahor) is to move the ashes. Who moved Yeshua from the cross and placed him in his own tomb? It was, not a priest or anyone who was already defiled. John 19:38 “And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Yeshua, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked of Pilate that he might take away the body of Yeshua: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took away his body.”

7- Another picture of the Messiah as the ‘waters of purification’, the Red Heifer. Zach 13:1 “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” Heb 9:13-14 “For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: how much more will the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

8- V.3 Outside the camp. Yeshua was taken outside the walled city; Out of the place where the righteous live, Out of Torah.

a. This is where we lived, where the unclean people are located. Cleanliness is through Yeshua; this sacrifice was for the purification of Sin. Num 19:9

9- Num 19:14 “This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, (us) and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.” (We are the tent in the wilderness, which is the World) v.15 “Every open vessel, which has no covering (obedience to Yeshua) bound on it, is unclean.” (This is picture of our tools, our skills, our abilities) v.16 “Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.” (The world) v.17 “For the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and spring (clean, pure-Yeshua John 7:37) water shall be put thereto in a vessel:” v.18 “and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:”

10- Num 19:15 “Every open vessel, which has no covering tied down on it, shall be unclean.” But we are the container, covered by Yeshua and tied by the Scarlet Cord.

11- Chapter 20: They came to Moses and complained to Him. Not about Yahweh, but about Moshe. This was just the last straw for Moses. His Anger cost him. Moses obeyed in anger, not a ‘pure heart’. Moses struck the Rock 20:11, this cost him. He defended himself, look at Ex 14:14, put this to memory.

a. The First time at Rephidim. This is symbolic of the Messiah being crucified. He had to die. Exod 17:6 “ Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.” Heb 6:6 “... they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.”

b. The second time when he came to the Rock, he was to ask the Rock, Yeshua for the Holy Spirit, the water, but it was like crucifying Him all over. We need to come to Yeshua and walk in obedience, not disobedience that is crucifying Him all over. Heb 6:6 “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God anew,” Just ASK YESHUA, Mat 7:9 “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?”

c. This is the Mayim Chayim, John 7:37-38; Rev 22:1-2 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.” (The rock that found us in the wilderness, chose us and we are to build our house upon “IT”.) 1 Cor 10:4 “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: (in the wilderness) and that Rock was Messiah.”

12- 20:29 Aaron was mourned for 30 days, also Moses Deut 34:8 Mourning was sheva which normally was for only 7 days. This was a great honor for Aaron was loved.

13- Chapter 21: 16 The Well at Beer, (see definitions) A spring well of Life, Yeshua. After the Rock of Salvation sometimes we need to do some digging to find the Living Water, in Torah. Beer means well, but the Root word for well is Ba’ar, which means “Letters on Tablets”. You have to go to the root to find the Letters on Tablets of Flesh or Stone. Ezek 36:26. 2Co 3:3 “You are Christ's letter, produced by our service, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” Beer-sheba; well of oath, or well of seven oaths; Gen 21:14, 26:33.

a. Zech 14:8 “... in that day, that living waters will go out from Yerushalayim; half of them toward the eastern sea (can you see Judah here?), and half of them toward the western sea (could this be Ephraim?); in summer and in winter.” John 7:38, out of your belly. Rev 21, Ezek 47.

14- We see more ‘Lashon hara’ and Moses a picture of Yeshua intercedes again. Look upon “Yeshua and live.” Num 21:8. John 3:14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.”

15- As you pass through the land of the world, Egypt, Babylon, Grand Junction-Delta-Silt-New Castle-Fruita-Montrose-Crawford-Cimarron-America. Num 21:22 “… we will not turn into the fields, (out of Torah) or into the vineyards; (the spirits of the world) we will not drink [of] the waters of the well (Their wells and rocks have no salvation or life) [but] we will go along by the king's high way, (The Walk of Yeshua-Halachah) until we be past thy borders. (In the world but not of the world).”

Nature’s Truth: A mother cow wants to give her milk and the calf wants to drink it in. If the mother only wanted to get rid of her milk then it would all gush at once. But Yahweh planned it this way that truth is progressive. The Torah is being illuminated to those that have a desire to know more truth, but with SPIRIT!!

Tune in Next Week: Why couldn’t The Prophet Baal curse the beautiful tents of Israel?

Balak: Numbers 22:2-25:9; Micah 5:6-6:8; 2Peter 2:1-22; Jude 11; Revelation 2:14-15 “For the mitzvot are a lamp; and the Torah is the light; and instructions are the way of life:” Pro 6:23

1) Why do you think this ‘Red Heifer’ (a female) had to be pure and spotless? It is a picture of Yeshua, and the Bride –We have been chosen to be pure, unblemished, spotless as a virgin, (Holy and Separate, through HIM, not by us or our power or might but by HIS SPIRIT-RUACH. He is the pure offering for us to walk in the Waters of Purification and to use our hands to give its redeeming POWER. 2) Tell me what you think the symbolism to ‘never having a yoke’ means? He has never had a Yoke or master or debt in the world, so He chose to take ours, even the curse of death upon us. His ONLY YOKE is us! Mat 11:30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light; Isa 9:4 ;Gal 5:1 … Messiah hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.Heb 7:26 For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; (bondage, Egypt, sin). 3) In verse 6, what do you think the cedar wood, hyssop, and the red thread could mean? Cedar Wood, hyssop, and a crimson thread were also put in the fire. Cedar-wood was the symbol of the incorruptible continuance of life; Hyssop is a symbol of purification from the corruption of death, with the blood to put HIS mark on you; & the Scarlet Thread is the thread that ties us to Yeshua. Yeshua has woven it from the beginning of time; it ties us to Him, to the patriarchs, to the apostles and forgives (symbol of the Blood) so we may walk this Halachah. These are all precious pictures of Yeshua's sacrifice for us. 4) Notice that he who is clean (a priest) makes the sacrifice is now unclean, can you see any correlations? It is a picture of Yeshua’s death, the clean man becomes unclean, and now the only way for Him to be clean again is to wash in the redemption of Yeshua’s blood. This is the understanding of being born again in water and blood. 5) Then a man who is clean is to take the body-sacrifice out of the camp. What do you see here? (Remember the death of Yeshua) This man is a Pharisee, named Joseph of Arimethea. He is a clean man. All of this is a picture of the King Yeshua. 6) Notice the laws concerning touching a dead body. Let’s assume the dead body is you. What, then does the washing in the water of purification mean to YOU? Yeshua is the priest that takes the Water of Purification and brings us to the ‘New Birth’, born again in the waters, which we see as the spiritual birth that troubled Nicodemus in the New Testament, in John 3. 7) Can you find a correlation to the washing on the 3rd day in Yeshua? And the 7th day? This has great significance and is a prophecy of Yeshua. Yeshua became the overcomer of Death on the 3rd day, His resurrection. The 7th day represents completion; our completion in Messiah. 8) Notice in v.17-19, a man who is clean from the waters and ashes, then must use waters to cleanse his tent, the house, (your house is your body, the temple). so what do you think this really means to you today and what is the spiritual and physical symbolism? This is a great picture of you and the Body of Messiah; it must be cleansed in the waters of Yeshua. The bride is the temple of the Living God. This is the Status Change, a Mikveh to give you power by the Holy Spirit to Walk the Walk of the Ancient pathways. 9) Look at Isaiah 61:10 And notice what your clothing is now as a priest of Yeshua, and 1 Cor 3:16, & 1 Cor 6:16 and tell me what your clothing and house are and explain what the waters of purification now mean to you, your clothing and your temple? We see that He will clothe us in a garland of praise, the first step in coming unto HIM, (repentance is a form of praise). Then He clothes His bride, (Deut 17) in RIGHTEOUSNESS and SALVATION. We are putting on Messiah. Are you clothed in HIM? 10) In Chapter 20 Moses is told to speak to the Rock, tell me what he did and what was his reward? He was told to speak to the Rock-Yeshua, He struck the rock twice. We are like Moses in our walks with out faith, with anger and rebellion. His "reward" was actually the consequence of sin; he is not allowed to enter the Promised Land, after all these years of sojourning. 11) Where else did Moses Hit the Rock? Why? (Scriptures and name the place, please.) Exodus 17:6 at Horeb. Again, Moses struck the Rock there to satisfy a thirsty, angry, complaining mob. The first time Moses was told to Strike the Rock, a picture of Crucifixion. 12) 1 Cor 10:4 tell us who the Rock is, please tell me and do you think Yeshua was with them? Yeshua is the Rock, and I KNOW He was with them throughout their wilderness journey. He was the cloud by day, the fire by night, the manna in the desert and the living water from the Rock. He shared a personal relationship with Moses and guided him every step of the way.

Bonus: What do you think the first time Moses hit the Rock, may mean and then what does the 2nd time he hit the Rock represent? The first time Moses hit the Rock-Yeshua; he did so in obedience to Yahweh, and was still in a place of giving Yahweh the glory for all His miracles. The first time is a picture of the Crucifixion. The second time Moses struck the rock in anger, almost as if crucifying Yeshua all over. As we choose each day to walk in our walks, not HIS it is a picture of making the Sacrifice of Yeshua all over again, for we have been freed to walk in Victory over Sin and corruption. The Glory of Yahweh is filling the Whole earth through you. Ezek 36:23 Blessings and I pray this Study gets you into a fire and the Word, as the Torah opens up to us a great picture of the bride and the Groom, Yeshua. Love you, in His name, Pastor Curtis

My heart is to see you Free from guilt and pain. Walk in Peace, Love and Joy! OK??

Don’t try to teach as we think He taught, just walk as He did! The Ruach will do the rest!
