In March 2009, the Board was given approval to proceed with the conversion of the former National Research Council building on the UBC campus into a 800-capacity secondary school for grades 9-12 and to replace the existing University Hill Secondary on Acadia Road with a new Kindergarten to Grade 8 school.Current Status: University Hill completed - total cost $37,874,362 Acadia Road under construction; est completion 2014.
