Greeting to all Asia Pacific Leaders,

It is our pleasure to host one of the most important conferences of

AIESEC in Asia Pacific Region, Asia Pacific Leaders Summit 2015. After such

a long wait for this opportunity, we welcome you to Thailand.

Asia Pacific Leaders Summit 2015 is a powerful space for individual

development, and, importantly, connecting with the diversity from Asia

Pacific region that you will never see in any conference. You can look

forward to join our special events, such as Thailand Youth Speak Forum,

Global Village, and other surprises, that will fill you with memorable

experiences throughout the whole conference.

We are excited to welcome you to be our guest and experience the

Land of Smiles.

Lastly, on behalf of Conference Committee team, we would like to

thank you for giving us this greatest opportunity and believing in Thailand

and AIESEC in Thailand’s potential to host this wonderful international

APLS 2015 will happen in Thailand, the Land of Smiles. It is located in

Southeast Asia and is near Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. Here is some

basic information that you should know about Thailand.

APLS Asia Pacific Leaders Summit in Thailand !

APLS is the AP regional conference for LCPs. Every year, AP LCPs

come together to get knowledge, support, motivation and skills in order to

be better LCPs.

For LCP currents - This is an opportunity for you to prepare for winter

and summer operations, as well as to think about transition and next steps

after your LCP term.

For LCP elects - This is an opportunity for you to prepare for summer

operations and to think about transition, EB selection and planning.

By the end of the conference, you will be ready to lead your LC!

The conference will be 5 days and 4 nights of fun, professional skills

development, meeting awesome people, and roll call dances from 23

countries in Asia Pacific.

YOUTHSPEAK FORUM

YouthSpeak Forum is a premiere event that brings together both

young and senior leaders to

form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for inspiring

conversation and around pressing global issues and initiating action

together Asia Pacific YouthSpeak Forum in Thailand, there will be around 150

youth leaders from over 17 countries in Asia Pacific and 150 Youth in

Thailand coming together. The youth leaders will gather to share their

ideas and perspectives about the topic “Bridge the gap between youth and employment”.

Education Work-lifestyle

Why Youth & Employment ? In Asia and the Pacific there are 33 Million young people who are

unemployed. They are up to 6 times more likely to be unemployed

than adults. Where is this gap coming from? Is it because of the

education in Asia Pacific that could not fulfill what we need in order to

achieve our future goal? Or is it because of the Working culture in

companies that difficult for youth in this generation to fit in? YouthSpeak

forum will be a space for us to discuss over these topics. Not only for us

to find the root of the problem, but also coming up as a solution from youth perspective toward the issue.

sector before joining international development

organizations (a United Nations agency dealing with

labour issues) in Latin America and in Asia where he

has managed technical assistance programs

geared toward financial inclusion, local economic

development and youth employment.

Co-founder of Getmii,inc Darryl is the co-founder of the Getmii, one of the

fastest growing social media apps in America. He

has a MBA from the University of California,

Berkeley, and was a management consultant at

McKinsey and Company in his previous life.

Mr. Wannasingh Prasertkul

Social Developer & Young Influencer Wannasingh is a television host, a documentary

maker, a writer, an explorer and a societal

developer. His career in media industry allows him

to journey around the world and learns about the

difference in culture, perception and moral

standard in every place he has visited.

WORKSHOP: 70 minutes to create an experience for you to be able to connect between education & employment more.

Getmii: Work life balance Work and life is not separate, work is a part of life. This

workshop aim to explore your inner self, through aligning your

values. It is often said when you choose a career that you love,

that you no longer have to work a single day of your life. We all

will face frustrations even at our dream job. Many of you will also

be stepping out the safety net of school to take the first step in

finding your career.

C-ASEAN: The start up pitch Sharing expectation of pitching! How to do

effective pitching for startup! How to pitch your idea to

make sure your audience understand your message

and investor buy your idea!!

ADB: Skills development and Youth unemployment Addressing how youth and different stakeholders can act

today, anticipating the needs of the future, given that skills

development is a crucial aspect of future needs. Skills

development solutions need broader forward-looking and

innovative approaches for effective skills development in Asia

Pacific to address youth unemployment.

iCareBenefit: Be successful or stay home. Networking

skills that everyone needs. Have you ever felt that if you knew the right

people, you could be more successful? Have you ever

felt uncomfortable in a group of people you don’t

know well? Have you ever wondered how to start or

when to start building a professional network? Do you

know why it can be helpful?

ACTION SPACE

YouthSpeak Forum aims for youth to act upon the

issue that they concern. Action Space is our key highlight

of the event. After learning from speakers and workshops,

we will have a space for delegates to create a social

project which can help address the issue of Youth and Employment

Global Village + Thai Temple fair

"Showcase your country to Thai people and AP peeps. Enjoy one of

the most unique festivals in Thailand"

In the Thai temple fair, you can enjoy some of Thailand’s local food

and play some local games for a special reward. Moreover, we will teach

everyone how Thai people celebrate Thai Temple Fair.

** We also will prepare a Merchandise booth in the event so you can

bring merchandise from your LC or your entity to sell at this booth.

AIESEC for AP Celebration Night in Thailand

On the last night of APLS, everyone will come together to celebrate

the past 5 years of success. You will witness the past 5 years of

achievement in AP region. You will also enjoy Thai performances, such as

Thai boxing and Thai country song :)

Accommodation: 2 persons / 1 room - Double bedrooms or twin

bedrooms. Includes- kettle, refrigerator, safe, wardrobe, air-conditioner,

television and free Wifi.

Other Hotel Facilities: The hotel has a 24 hour minimart to provide you

with basic essentials. There is also a fitness and spa within the hotel (service

fee is charged separately.)

Those who already made the payment for pre-order of T-shirt, Thai-Boxing

Pants, and Wristband will get one sticker for FREE per one piece of merchandise.

Due to the number of nametag order, the order is lower than the minimum

requirement of production. Therefore, we need to cancel the production of this

merchandise. We would like to apologize for this situation. As a result, we will

return the money for the delegate who ordered this item and already made the

payment during the conference time. Money will be returned to each delegate

during the Merchandise Booth.

Delegate Fee: 7,800 Baht Please submit delegate fees on the 2nd day of the conference. All

payments must be made in Thai Baht only.

Damage fees: 600 Baht Damage fees will be paid at the same time as the Delegate Fee on

the 2nd day of conference.

(At the end of conference, if there is no damage caused, the damage fee

will be returned to each delegate.)

**All payments (cash in hand made on the spot of the conference)

must be made in Thai Baht only. Please remember that CC will accept in

Thai Baht only.

***After 8th November, 2015, the cancellation will not be accepted

and delegation fee will have to be paid full.

Remark: The date and time to collect both fees may be changed due

to the available time of the conference to collect the fees.
