Report on Cultural exchange programme

Cultural exchange programme was conducted on 26 th July 2014 in the seminar hall of our college

campus. In this event, many foreigners participated and showed their interest towards Indian culture

and tradition. They even spoke about the Indian traditional values and morals. They even came in

traditional attire and participated actively in the events. Miss. Angelina who hails from UK spoke about

the greatness of Indian culture and tradition and the people which made the audience delighted. Mrs.

Catherine spoke about her adoration towards Indian culture and marriage system. In this manner, the

entire event went on huefully. In the valedictory function a group picture of GVP college teaching and

non teaching staff and the foreigners were taken and this shows the unity and integrity of India.

REPORT ON RAMADASU JAYANTHI

Ramadas jayanthi was observed at GVP College for degree and pg courses on 07/02/2014 From 5.00 pm

to 8.00pm in the seminar hall. In this programme students recited Ramadas keerthanas under the

guidance of Dr.V.V.Sharma garu. The event was triumphant and stressed the greatness of Ramadas.

Students voluntarily came forward and showed their passion towards culture and tradition and made

the event a grand success. This entire event made the audience feel divine fully delighted. the greatness

of Ramadas was highlighted in this event and how he attained such position made the audience

interesting.

Report On Ugadi Celebrations

Ugadi was celebrated in Gurajada Kalakshetram and all the GVP Institutions gathered under one

umbrella. On this occasion, students from all GVP institutions participated and exhibited various talents

in various fields. It is been a cultural feast for the entire Visakhapatnam. In this event panchanga

sravanam was observed besides some cultural performances which made the audience enthralled. The

students attended and participated in traditional attire and made the audience delighted. The

management emphasized the importance of UGADI which is addressed as TELUGU NEW YEAR.
