State Emergency Operation Centre. During the programme, Shri Deen Mohammed, InformationOfficer, DM explained about the Emergency CommunicationSystem of this UT and practically demonstrated thecommunication equipments and its functions in State EmergencyOperation Centre (SEOC). camp was organised for SeniorNCC cadets at ITF Groundtoday in association with A&NAIDS Control Society, GBPant Hospital. 34 SeniorDivision cadets of Army andNavy voluntarily donatedblood showing great sense ofsocial responsibility.

Many senior officers from Forest Department and other linedepartments, scientific institutions along with local PRI membersalso attended the function. The members of local public andfamily members of the trainees too were present.Shri. Rajesh, Forest Guard received the Toppers Gold Medal fromthe chief guest, for the overall performance both in theory aswell as practical sessions of the six months long training course.Of the four silver medals awarded, Shri. P. Mohammed Safikreceived two medals in 'Forestry' and 'Biodiversity Conservation'while Shri. Rajesh and M. Shahid Arman bagged the silvermedals for 'Field Management' and 'Survey & Engineering'respectively. Silver medals in Marathon race for men and womencategory were secured by Shri. Pradeep Mondal and Smti. RadhaKumari Pandey respectively.
