Lining• Lining is the finishing

on the internal wall or ceiling surfaces of a space.

• Timber is one lining material that can:– Improve acoustic &

thermal performance; – Enhance appearance

and visual interest; &– Reduce maintenance.

Timber products used as lining include:• Solid timber

– Rough sawn, dressed, or moulded • Veneered board

– Selected veneers laid on a sheet substrate• Plywood• Other sheet material

– Medium density fibreboard, or hardboard
