• Singular = single • A singular noun only refers to one
object• Examples?• Bag, computer, camera, paper
• Plural = multiple• A plural noun refers to more than
one object• Usually end in an “s”• Examples?• Books, kids, chips, birds• Can you think of any examples of
plural nouns that do not end in an “s”?
• Tooth = teeth
Adjective• Describes a noun• The large dog.• The yellow bird.• Examples?
Verb• A verb is something you can physically do• Word that expresses an action• Run, jump, sleep, talk• Other examples?
