40 mm LV grenade launcher GSBO-40 and GPBO-40

40 mm individual grenade launcher GSBO-40 and under barrel launcher GPBO-40 are modern, manually operated, single-shot weapon intended for fighting manpower, fire positions and light armoured vehicles, destroying structural targets, generating smoke screen, light the nearby area etc. depending on type of ammunition fired. GPBO-40 is additional fire unit for a soldier equipped with 5,56 mm riffle wz. 96 Beryl or 7,62 mm AKM. Every individual launcher comes with a kit consisting of:– cartridge belt– tool set enabling grenade launcher operation and maintenance – individual set of spare parts.

40 mm individual launcher is made up of the prime components: barrel module, fi ring device module, mounting gear module, mechanical sight module and folding stock module. The barrel module includes rifl ed barrel and housing. Firing module includes: sear mechanism, safety mechanism and lock mechanism. There is a possibility of confi guration both for left and right handed. Thanks to GSBO-40 modular construction the launcher can be modifi ed into an under barrel version (GPBO-40). The launcher’s barrel can be tilted to the side to enable the use of diff erent than standard ammunition (bigger length).
