Safety in Assembly

During assembly of this airplane, you will be asked to use sharp knives and hobby adhesives. Please follow all safety procedures recommended by the manufacturers of the products you use, and always follow these important guidelines: ALWAYS protect your eyes when working with adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. Safety glasses are the best way to protect your eyes. ALWAYS protect your body, especially your hands and fingers when using adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. Do not cut toward exposed skin with hobby knives. Do not place hobby knives on tables or benches where they can roll off or be knocked off. ALWAYS have a first‐aid kit handy when working with adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. ALWAYS keep hobby equipment and supplies out of the reach of children.

Safety in Flying

This is NOT a toy! It is a very high‐performance RC airplane capable of high speeds and extreme maneuvers. It should only be operated by a competent pilot in a safe area with proper supervision. ONLY fly your airplane in a safe, open area, away from spectators and vehicles–and where it is legal to fly. NEVER fly over an unsafe area, such as a road or street. Never fly too close to yourself or spectators.

Never run your motor inside a house or building with the propeller attached – Remove the prop for safety.

Wing Assembly

Locate the following parts:

2 x Z-Bend Wire

2 x Control Horn

1 x Wing Dowel

2 x Servo Connector

2 x Micro Servo, at least 20oz torque (Not included)

Remove the covering on the pre-cut opening of the servo with soldering iron.

Remove the covering on the pre-cut opening of the servo extension wire with soldering iron.

Install the servo connector on the servo arm.

Secure the control horn on the aileron.

Secure the servo on the wing.

Secure the Z-bend wire into the servo connector. Then connect this Z-bend wire to the control horns.

Apply the epoxy to the joint areas of the wing.

After applying the glue, put the joined wing on a flat surface. Secure it with tape. Wait for the glue has cured.

Drill a hole which depth is 10 mm and diameter is 3 mm on the center of the wing.

Secure wing dowel into the hole with CA glue.

Tail Assembly

Locate the following parts:

2 x Z-Bend Wire

1 x Vertical Fin

2 x Control Horn

1 x Elevator

2 x Servo Connector

2 x Micro Servo, at least 20oz torque (Not included)

Remove the covering on the pre-cut opening of the elevator with soldering iron.

Remove the covering on the pre-cut opening of the vertical fin with soldering iron.

Remove the covering on the pre-cut opening of the vertical fin servo and the elevator servo with soldering iron.

Secure vertical fin onto the elevator with CA glue.

Then secure the tail onto the fuselage with CA glue.

Note: As shown, when finishing the installation. A=A1, B=B1, C=C1

Secure the control horn on the pre-cut slot of the vertical fin.

Install the servo onto the fuselage.

Install Z-bend wire into the control horn on the vertical fin. Connect Z-bend wire to the servo.

Secure the control horn on the elevator.

Secure the servo into the fuselage.

Install Z-bend wire into the control horn on the elevator. Connect Z-bend wire to the servo on the fuselage.

Landing Gear Assembly

Locate the following parts:

2 x Landing Gear

1 X Tail Skid

2 x Landing Gear Plate

2 x Wheel Collar

4 x Landing Gear Screw

2 x Foam Wheel

Secure the foam wheel into the nose landing gear with wheel collar.

Cut off the covering on the pre-cut hole of the nose landing gear. The pre-cut hole should be 10mm from the slot of the wing.

Secure the landing gear into the fuselage with landing gear screws.

Cut off the covering on the pre-cut slots of the tail skid.

Secure the tail skid into the fuselage with CA glue.

Electronics Installation

Locate the following parts:

1 x Ballast

1 x Motor Mount

1 x 2212-1250KV Motor (Not included)

1 x 30A ESC (Not included)

1 x Battery (Not included)

1 x 10*5 Prop (Not included)

4 x Washer

4 x Motor Mount Screw

4 x Motor Mount Blind Nut

We recommend using folding props if you are a beginner.

Drill through four pre-cut holes on the nose with a 3mm diameter drill bit.

Secure the motor mount onto the fuselage with four motor mount screws. Then tighten them with four nuts.

Install your motor onto the motor mount. Connect the ESC to your motor.

Secure the wing on the fuselage with two wing screws and two washers.

The CG should be 60mm (2.3-2.4in) from the leading edge of the wing.

The CG varies with your motor and battery. You might need to use the ballast to change the CG.
