What did I do to garner a call from Mid-Pacific’s President? As it turned out, you called for a concerned check-up and a friendly chat, and you didn’t just call me – you called the entire senior class of 2020. I – and all my classmates – greatly appreciated your call. In turbulent times like these I’ve found it’s crucial to find the silver lining, and that call perfectly exemplifies it. It’s families, it’s friends, it’s classmates, it’s schools and communities like ours staying connected and taking care of each other. Although this is not the way I anticipated or hoped for my last semester of high school to end, it’s sparked in me a deep appreciation, now more than ever, for my classmates, teachers, friends, and the entire Mid-Pacific community. We may not be able to cross our campus halls together, but we have platforms like Zoom, TikTok and FaceTime to keep each other lifted and excited for graduation. Your call was another bright light that has kept me smiling through these times – thank you so much! Sincerely, Evan Kagimoto and the Senior Class of 2020 Subscribe Past Issues Translate
