Divine Mercy Sunday Feast Day shall be celebrated at 3 p.m. with the Divine Chaplet sung and witness shared in the Chapel, April 28th.
Today we are filled with joy, for we celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord. He died on the cross, but now he has been raised from death to new life. Today we are filled with hope, for the sacrifice he made on the cross has opened the way to eternal life. His sacrifice is our sal-vation. Today we are filled with praise, for Jesus Christ has won victory over the grave. He has re-deemed humanity.
FIRST COMMUNION INFORMATION 1st confessions will be Saturday April 27th at 10am in the chapel. This will be the only oppurtunity for confessions. Any questions call Ma-ria Jones

CONFIRMATION INFORMATION Confirmation Retreat will be Satur-day April 27th 9 a.m. @ Our Lady of Lourdes. All Candidates, at least 1 Parent and Sponsor's MUST attend. Practice for the Confirmation Mass will be Sunday April 28th @ 3 p.m. in the church. Confirmation Mass with Bishop Olson will be Wednes-day May 1st at 6 p.m. Candidates and Sponsors Need to be present in the church by 5 p.m. El Retiro de la Confirmación será el sábado 27 de abril en la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes to-dos los candidatos, al menos un Padre y Padrino/Madrina debe asistir. La práctica para la Misa de Confir-mación será el domingo 28 de abril a las 3 p.m. en la iglesia. La Misa de Confirmación con el Obispo Ol-son será el miércoles 1 de mayo a las 6 p.m., los Candidatos y los Padrinos deben estar presentes en la iglesia a las 5 p.m.

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN There will be a session conducted in English for Protecting God’s Children for Adults at Our Lady of Lourdes in Mineral Wells, 108 NW 4th Ave. on Saturday, April 27 at 9 a.m. The session will take about 3 hours to complete. There are about 30 of 30 spaces remaining for this session. On line pre-registration is encouraged to insure a seat for this session. Mother-in-law in Jerusalem: George went on a vacation to the Middle East with most of his family including his mother-in-law. During their vacation and while they were visiting Jerusalem, George’s mother-in-law died. With the death certificate in hand, George went to the American Consulate to make arrangements to send the body back to the States for proper burial. The Consul, after hearing of the death of the mother-in-law, told George that the sending of a body back to the States for burial is very, very expensive. It could cost as much as $5,000. The Consul continued, “In most cases the person responsible for the remains normally decides to bury the body here. This would only cost $150.” George thought for some time and an-swered, “I don’t care how much it will cost to send the body back; that’s what I want to do.” The Consul, after hearing this, said, “You must have loved your mother-in-law very much, considering the difference in price.” “No, it’s not that!” said George. “You see, I know of a case many years ago of a person, by name Jesus, who was buried here in Jerusalem. On the third day he arose from the dead. I just can’t take that chance.”
