• Examine the “Middle Passage” of slaves from the differing viewpoints found in the included primary sources. Answer the questions included at the end of each source.

STEP TWO:• Imagine that you have been commissioned by the

government to create a memorial for the Middle Passage. Design and draw a monument that would be appropriate for remembering the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Should be neat and in color.
