Montreal Police Chief Philippe Pichet to introduce pilot project in coming months”.“We have to decide which unit is going wear the cameras and how many cameras we’ll try.Pichet, who took over the top post in August,  said a committee has been set up to oversee the project.

It seems that a few employees weren’t happy with some senior ex-ecutive accounting and HR heads over the recent announcement of 2,900 layoffs at Air France going on 2016. Following a meeting a group of employee protesters chased the execs making them seem-ingly flea for their safety protected by security while running for their lives and climbing over fences.

United is looking to purchase 30 planes with options of 30 more. This would be a signifi-cant win for Bombardier. Oct 17th 2015 in Times Square these are the yells and screams that came from Sgt. Shamar Thomas, a decorated U.S. Marine. Having served in Iraq and Afghan-istan Sgt.Thomas was enraged over the NYPD’s police presence and excessive force with no utter of showing any kind of respect to New York citizens during the financial sector protest about Wall Street bankers.

Caught on video and posted on YouTube we can all see the events unfold in front of us as it only took only 1 Marine to shut down the 30 plus NYPD dressed in riot gear.

He sent a very clear, loud and serious mes-sage that this treatment on unprotected U.S civilians will not be tolerated, especially while he is on watch. At the time of the inci-dent the anger from Sgt.Thomas is so raw you feel as if he is on the line of even being arrested himself but it’s the contrary the police are filmed by numerous cell phone onlookers and Sgt Thomas is applauded and hailed an instant hero by the people after pushing the NYPD back.

This is finally what the people need-ed someone they could trust and that would not back down it’s as if Sgt. Thomas was sent from above.

He had the name, the money, the pow-er and all the connections around the world to make his publishing vision happen. Associated Television  (ATV) was founded in 1955 by  Lew Grade. In 1985, ATV Music Publishing was sold to Michael Jackson for $47.5 million. In December 1995, Michael Jackson agreed to merge ATV Music Pub-lishing with Sony Music Publishing, a division of  Sony Corporation, to form Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

In 2005, Jackson’s defense attor-ney,  Thomas Mesereau, claimed that the song catalogue had been valued at between $4  billion to $5  billion.  Charles Koppelman, a veteran music industry executive, stated that $1 billion was more re-flective of Sony/ATV Music Publish-ing’s worth.

Jackson’s own financial documents stated that his 50% share of the catalogue was worth $390.6 million as of 2007, which would have made the entire catalogue worth $781.2 million today.

Unfortunately, Walter Palmer’s slaying of Ce-cil the lion was fully on the up and up, and he will NOT be charged according to Zimba-bwe officials who in-vestigated Palmer’s hunt. Zimbabwe’s Envi-ronmental Minister says the Minnesota dentist’s

papers were all in order and he had legal authority to conduct the hunt.

So what made this lion kill different than all the rest?Is it that we have no values of life or respect for all life, shame on us as humans for allowing this type inhu-mane act to go on. More exposure and pressure can eventually stop these vicious hunts.

some time to figure what you need first… Make a list of needs that matter to you i.e. cheap on gas, 7 passenger, lots of space. This will help you pick a car and you might even end up driving away in the car of your dreams!

Set your budget…. to buy or pay monthly.a.  What can you afford? What about repairs?

Other emergencies? Be prepared for anything life sends your way except having your car re-possessed. The simple rule: buy what you can afford.  

b.   Bad credit? Not a problem… you can pass with financing at most used car dealerships but prepared to pay a heavy deposit.

Don’t get confused…. Pick 2 cars that meet your needs and budget.

a.  Shop around on the internet… Trader and Kijiji is a good start.

b.   Be open to any car because you might like it and the price.

Alan Prater’s whole life has been to share music with people. His heart wants to bring music back to it’s divine purity back to the soul of it all. He says

Montreal has been amazing to him, it allowed him to not be persuaded by what everyone was doing back in the U.S. but moreso made him find himself and his music all on his own. He’s able to work on recording multiple projects for himself and be apart of the band The Brooks at the same time. Alan truly knows how to create different musical energies.

Alan is scared he is part of the last soul soldiers representing the end of real musicians that truly bring the sound of soul, funk and honors the greats that have laid down the guidelines of great music..

What’s the difference in sounds if Alan Prater sings with The Brooks versus if Alan Prater sings solo? With The Brooks, the sound is more on the funk side. and also its a collabora-tion between 8 members and with me, the sound is a bit personal and more on the soul side of things..

At what age did you first realize that you could really sing and perform as a lead vocalist?I don’t know at what age, it was done out of necessity though.. I didn’t know anyone who could interpret the songs I was writing so I had too...

What has been your greatest highlight and achievement from music?My greatest musical highlight has to be singing the national Anthem at the 2009 NHL all star game, which was televised live in 150 countries and hearing my family name called while all my family watched (they were very proud of that) ...blessing

21 years in the business and no one can’t say he’s never been in the base-ment. Meet Peter Federico the man more dedicated to his store than most he truly built it from the bot-tom to the top where it’s at now.

He's done every job his staff is doing and is still there on the floor. Going back in the day to the big explosion and era of Hip Hop that was the best era for clothing Fubu, Phat Farm, Echo, Sean John I lived it and loved it. This is Peter new owner of Taz for the last two years and what he brings to this clothing store is the vision.

How did you become the owner of TAZ?

I started from the bottom and worked my way to the top and bought the store when the mar-ket was in a slump. I started here over 20 years ago, I swept the floors, stocked the shelves, sold the clothes, managed the store and now own it.

We asked him what was his best era of clothing?

Peter: The back in the day era of Hip Hop was the best era for clothing Fubu Phat Farm I lived it and loved it.

We asked him about the name, he said it’s just the name.What he brings to this clothing store? The vision.

Clothing is a hard racket almost no clothing line is guaranteed to be the look from one week to another fashion changes. His vision is young fresh in the moment no rules when necessary and with 2 floors to stock he knows his business. Peter keeps his store rolling full steam ahead it’s the mix of the experience he has to know how to buy the brands that will keep this store on top every season.

Vapin is Hip Hop, Rock, Coun-try, Classical, Electronic, House, R&B, Soul, Funk and Pop music all wrapped up in big white clouds of smoke. At the top of the Grammy list for Vaping in Montreal is Robot Vapes. By far in marketing Robot Vapes has one of the craziest cross branding campaigns going on in the Vape business. “Robot Vape” as a logo itself is outta this world, the motherboard and software programs running the sci-fi vape robot are credited to the owners Betsy and Greg.

DJ Fabian “Kickin”Ashe has played for more Black crowds, la-dies nights and ballers than others in Montreal. Most DJ’S spin-ning Soul, R&B, Hip Hop and House can thank Fabian for pio-neering their platform to play Black music in MTL today.

From the mix is where it all starts with Fabian. Known for his su-preme quality in mixing and being the smoothest blender he’s got that touch to bring two records together like no one other. It is his DJ signature, skill and his experience that separates him from other DJ'S spinning the same genres of music.

Fabian is the Holiday favorite and the consistent New Years DJ here in Montreal for the Black market.

Fabian is a legend, he brought house to Montreal and now he has moved back over to House music. This is his own choice like alot of Soul, R&B and Hip Hop DJ’s.

This is where the money and future is at for serious DJ’s. It’s sad to say Hip Hop is not paying the way it used to and when you want quality you have to pay the best is not cheap says Fabian.

Santa Claus is derived from the Dutch figure of Sinterklaas, whose name is a pronunciation of Saint Nicholas. The name Santa Claus evolved from Nick’s Dutch nickname, Sinter Klaas, a shortened form of Sint Nikolaas (Dutch for Saint Nicholas).  Santa Claus back then was first pictured a thick-bellied Dutch sailor with a long pipe and a green winter coat. Clement Clarke Moore wrote “A Visit from St. Nicholas” better known today as “T’was the night before Christmas”. This is the start of Santa Claus’s story with his Christmas Eve gift giving jour-ney visiting kids.

Thomas Nast drew a picture of Santa that immortalized in the January 3rd issue of “Harper’s Weekly”. Santa was wrapped in an American flag; this was his first viral pic.

The idea of Mrs. Claus, a wife for Santa Claus starts along with The North Pole.

Department store owner James Edgar starts the tradition of Santa Claus appearing in his Brock-ton, Massachusetts Department store.

L. Frank Baum’s releases the book, The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus”. It’s the Christmas children’s book where the 10 reindeer story starts for us.

An advertising agent for Coca Cola named Haddon Hubbard Sundblom is inspired by the Clem-ent Moore story and brings Santa alive with Coke ads. Yes Coca Cola becomes partially credited for creating the modern day image of Santa Claus by promoting its red & white colors, smart.

’s more Christmas carols like Jingle bells, White Christmas, Rudolph The red nosed reindeer animation plus many TV specials made Santa Claus a huge hit.

To begin, how much do we know about our Earth?

According to NASA, The Blue Marble, (Earth) was the very first and famous photograph of the Earth and was taken on December 7, 1972 by the crew of the Apollo 17 space crew. Flat earth believers stop right there. They don’t believe any of the Apollo 17 space pictures of Earth to be real.

When our staff tried Googling Earth, it didn’t seem to be any real pictures of earth. All we’ve seen were ani-mations drawings or composite images but nothing we would say was real. However digging deeper into the Blue marble an image of the Earth taken from the VIIRS instrument aboard NASA's Earth-observing research satellite, Suomi NPP quote “This composite image uses a number of swaths of the Earth's surface taken on 4 January 2012”. This clearly says this Blue Marble picture is only a composite picture. Flat Earth believers say all earth pictures are nothing more than created images and there are no real photos of our Earth.

Cite Soleil, Haiti is one of the poorest and roughest part of Haiti and dirt is on the menu. In 2016 Haitian kids, men, women and young children prepare, make and eat the so called cookies made from dirt, with sometimes nothing more than some kind of shortening and salt. The dirt cookies, is cooked out in the sun on the ground, just feet away from dirty water polluted with humans and animal sewage. The cookies are fed to the community, as food with no nutritional value. The habitants, seem immune to even eating dirt, it’s unbelievable to watch but it’s unfortunately true. Dirt cookies are being served in Haiti every day.

Government officials in Haiti know about this and say they are working to improve the nutrition in Haiti. Yet nothing has happened to stop this or better this situation. Surely with all the money from all the charities to feed Haiti, there’s no reason why people should be reduced to have to eat dirt. Maybe it’s time to send a few dirt cookies and a glass of milk to some key government officials in Haiti to enjoy for dessert after eating their fine food dinner. Contrary to what we’ve been taught in classes for over 500 years, the world might not be a round, spinning globe. Instead, millions of people are sharing their “Flat Earth” true beliefs, thoughts and research that the Earth is in fact truly flat. If true, would this bring a different perceptive to our reality, or would we even care?

The evolution of one’s soul is a lifetime process of letting go and discovering that, it’s through connecting to our soul that we connect with our deepest values, our life’s mission and existence, and that better realities to unfold are available to us.

Love is the answer, as we all have heard. By forgiving our dark impulses, our mistakes, flaws an shortcomings, we also must embrace our pain, suffering and heartaches.... for this is when we re-connect to our soul’s core, and to God, (the universe, the higher powers that be), to realize we are supported and that love is the answer.

If we can trust and allow ourselves to be guided by the omni-present Creator, the power outside of ourselves, as well the power inside us will enable our power to Be-well. If we spend more time with ourselves, integrate all of our being where our inner voice and innate wisdom resides, we can return into wholeness to be well, feel well, and live well.
